Purple cancel, few short perfs and h.r. covering thin at bottom left, otherwise Very Fine, decently centered example of this scarce stamp, Aldrich census records only 28 examples, none qualifying as sound Very Fine and many with ragged or damaged perforations

L. G. Hunt, 1c Black, Experimental Silk Paper (RO113e). Intense shade, showing obvious silk fibers, thin spots, appears Fine, quite attractive for this, Power Search lists only five examples and none are sound, with 2024 P.F. certificate
