Tallahassee Territorial Markings. 47 covers from the territorial period, starts in 1825 with the Type II markings in red including one with small "Free" handstamp, one with "Paid" handstamp and one with just the rate, the depth of this holding continues with similar examples in black, there are nine examples of the oval marking with "Fla" showing different rates and destinations including one to Ireland and one used as a forwarding marking, also seven with "Floa" without yeardate with range of uses, 16 of the ovals with yeardate including two struck in red, last eight are circular datestamps including one to England, overall, fresh and Very Fine with excellent strikes of the markings, without question one of the finest holdings of Tallahassee territorial markings ever assembled
