25c Orange Red, Colored Border, 1865 Issue (PR3). Without gum as issued, radiant color, blue "P" brushstroke cancel, few faults including few trimmed perfs at upper right and crease ending in a small repaired tearVERY FINE APPEARANCE. A PHENOMENAL USED EXAMPLE OF THE 25-CENT FIRST ISSUE NEWSPAPER STAMP.

2c Black, 1875 Issue (PR9). Crisp impression, gorgeous centering, neat cancel at center, Extremely Fine Gem, with 2013 P.S.E. certificate (XF-Superb 95; used are unpriced in SMQ), this is the highest grade awarded and the only to achieve it
9c Black, 1875 Issue (PR14). Jumbo margins, crisp impression, cork cancel, Very Fine and choice, with 1998 P.F. certificate
12c Rose, 1875 Issue (PR16). Brilliant color, gorgeous centering, neat central strike of quartered cork cancel, Extremely Fine Gem, with 1998 P.F. certificate
24c Rose, 1875 Issue (PR17). Deep rich color on bright paper, wide and balanced margins, neat cork cancel, Extremely Fine Gem, with 2002 P.F. certificate

$1.92 Dark Brown, 1875 Issue (PR24). Rich color and detailed impression, phenomenal centering with Jumbo margins, blue brushstroke cancel, Extremely Fine Gem, this is easily the widest-margined example we have ever encountered, with 1998 P.F. certificate
$3.00 Vermilion, 1875 Issue (PR25). Vibrant color, face-free blue brushstroke cancel, fresh and Extremely Fine, a stamp with great visual appeal, with 1996 P.F. certificate
$6.00 Ultramarine, 1875 Issue (PR26). Pretty shade nicely complemented by blue brushstroke cancel, Very Fine, scarce in used condition, with 1993 and 2005 P.F. certificates
$9.00 Yellow, 1875 Issue (PR27). Light manuscript cancel, bright colorVERY FINE AND CHOICE. THIS IS THE ONLY SOUND USED EXAMPLE OF SCOTT PR27 CERTIFIED BY THE PHILATELIC FOUNDATION.
The Philatelic Foundation has certified only three used examples of PR27. One has cancel painted over and repaired and one has a small corner crease.

60c Carmine, 1885 Issue (PR86). Two strikes of postmaster's violet straightline handstamp, intensely rich color, huge marginsVERY FINE. A RARE USED EXAMPLE OF THE 60-CENT 1885 NEWSPAPER ISSUE, SCOTT PR86.
Perhaps a half-dozen are certified by The Philatelic Foundation. This is one of the finest.

1c Intense Black, 1894 Issue (PR90). Light handstamp cancel, deep shade and a sharp detailed impression, small faultsFINE APPEARANCE. ONE OF ONLY FIVE USED EXAMPLES CERTIFIED BY THE PHILATELIC FOUNDATION.
Of the five certified used examples of PR90, only one is without faults. Ex Collier and "Golden Oak". With 2003 and 2014 P.F. certificates
4c Intense Black, 1894 Issue (PR92). Intense shade and proof-like impression, partly affixed to a piece of the U.S. Post Office form, light strike of handstamped oval cancel at leftVERY FINE AND CHOICE. THIS IS THE ONLY RECORDED USED EXAMPLE OF THE 4-CENT 1894 NEWSPAPER ISSUE, SCOTT PR92. ONE OF THE GREAT RARITIES OF USED NEWSPAPER STAMP COLLECTING.

Approximately 8-10 used examples are certified by The Philatelic Foundation, including some with manuscript cancels. Only one other is sound.
With 2011 P.F. certificate
24c Pink, 1894 Issue (PR96). Radiant color, bold strike of quartered cork cancel, corner crease at top leftFINE AND RARE. ONLY FOUR USED EXAMPLES OF THE 24-CENT PINK 1894 ISSUE, SCOTT PR96, ARE CERTIFIED BY THE PHILATELIC FOUNDATION, AND NONE ARE SOUND.
The four examples certified by The Philatelic Foundation are: 1) the example offered here, corner crease at top left; 2) purple cancel, faint vertical bend/crease at center (ex Curtis, Sale 1094, realized $8,000 hammer); 3) target cancel, perfs in at top and left, corner crease and surface scuff, ex Collier; and 4) violet cancel, corner crease and color slightly faded.

Less than a dozen are certified by The Philatelic Foundation, and several of those are faulty.

The records of The Philatelic Foundation contain approximately 10-12 used examples. Most have faults. The stamp offered here, in sound condition and with wide margins, is a true rarity.
