United States Possessions Postal Stationery Collection. Comprehensive collection of unused entires and postal cards mostly in binders, includes Canal Zone with Nos. U1, U2, U4, U5, U12 (large size) and some better postal cards, Cuba complete Nos. U1-U18, W1-W2, UX1-UX2 plus an overprinted set of Columbian entires fraudulently produced in the 1920's or early 1903's, Sloane, Tows and Bartels reportedly forced the manufacturer to destroy all he had (twelve sets) but apparently there were a few more, this set, and we believe one other (background accompanies), Hawaii Nos. U1-U13, UE1, UX1-UX9, Philippines virtually complete between U1/U45 and UX1/UX23, includes UZ4, U37 and U39 with printed "OB" and a U26 without overprint but with Manila business printed corner card (error?), Official corner cards and a few duplicates, Puerto Rico virtually complete U1/U18 plus scarce UX1, UX2 and UX3, exceptionally nice quality throughout, Very Fine
