HAWAII, 1857, 5c on 13c Dark Red (7). Type I (Clark) numeral, margins to just in at bottom and right, bold strike of San Francisco circular datestamp cancel, tiny toned spot at bottom leftFINE APPEARING USED EXAMPLE OF THE 1857 5-CENT ON 13-CENT PROVISIONAL SURCHARGE.
The 5c provisional surcharge was necessary due to a shortage of 5c stamps just after the transition from Postmaster Whitney to Jackson. Most were made by Jackson's clerk, Alvah Clark, around the start of 1857. New supplies of the 5c stamp (Scott No. 8) were received at the end of June 1857.

HAWAII, 1863, 2c Dark Blue, Bluish (17). Plate 5-B, Type IX (Westerberg Position 9), ample margins all around, square grid cancel, small repaired tear at top center and light horizontal creaseVERY FINE APPEARANCE. AN ENORMOUSLY RARE USED 1863 2-CENT NUMERAL FROM THE FIFTH SETTING IN DARK BLUE ON BLUISH WOVE PAPER.
The 2c Dark Blue on Bluish paper (Scott 17) was printed after Scott 18 and before Scott 20. It is one of the rarest of all Numeral Issues in either unused or used condition, and almost all known examples have small faults.

Block of 25 from the top half of the pane, showing part imprints at sides, 24 stamps Mint N.H., h.r. on center stamp, fresh bright color, couple stamps with light gum creases, Fine-Very Fine, a scarce half-pane of the 1893 2c Provisional Govt. Issue with black ovpt., Scott Retail as singles
PHILIPPINES, 1944, 6c Orange, "Victory" Ovpt. (470). Slightly disturbed original gum, some gum soaking along the perforations, tiny tear at top, Fine appearance, only 141 issued, with 2018 P.F. certificate
PHILIPPINES, 1944, 12c Ultramarine, "Victory" Ovpt. (475). Original gum, bright color, thin at right, Fine appearance, only 221 printed, with 2018 P.F. certificate
PHILIPPINES, 1944, 30c Orange Red, "Victory" Ovpt. (483). Tropicalized original gum as always on this value, deep vibrant color, Fine, only 200 were issued, with 2018 P.F. certificate
