1c Green, 3c Violet, Ty. II, Imperforate (481, 484). Mint N.H. with "picture frame" Jumbo margins showing parts of all eight surrounding stamps on each, Extremely Fine Gems, each with 2007 P.S.E. certificate and same grade (Gem 100 Jumbo; SMQ $94.00 as 98, unpriced in higher grade)
2c Carmine, Ty. II, Coil (491). Joint line pair, lightly hinged, radiant color, exceptionally well-centered, tiny corner crease at top rightEXTREMELY FINE APPEARANCE. A WELL-CENTERED JOINT LINE PAIR OF THE RARE 2-CENT TYPE II PERF 10 HORIZONTAL COIL ON UNWATERMARKED PAPER.
Unlike most other issues, the horizontal coil is actually scarcer than the vertical coil. It was in production for only a short period of time before being replaced by the Type III, Scott 492.

2c Carmine, Ty. II, Coil (491). Pair, exceptionally well-centered, brilliant colorEXTREMELY FINE. A SUPERB PAIR OF THE RARE 2-CENT TYPE II PERF 10 HORIZONTAL COIL ON UNWATERMARKED PAPER.
Unlike most other issues, the horizontal coil is actually scarcer than the vertical coil. It was in production for only a short period of time before being replaced by the Type III, Scott 492.

Mint N.H. with right selvage, fresh and bright with clear doubling, perfs close to barely into design at top, a desirable and collectible example of this rare printing anomaly, in all likelihood the surviving population of this difficult error is similarly centered, the collector who insists on acquiring this stamp centered will never own one, with 2008 P.S.E. certificate

2c Carmine (519). Mint N.H., choice centering with well-proportioned margins, rich color and proof-like impressionEXTREMELY FINE. A BEAUTIFUL MINT NEVER-HINGED EXAMPLE OF SCOTT 519.
This stamp was created in 1917 when a small excess supply of the imperforate Scott 344 was returned in from the post office in New York City to the Bureau. Rather than credit the New York post office for the returned postage, the Bureau preferred to perforate the sheets. They were then returned to the post office in New York and placed on sale.

Mint N.H., radiant colors as fresh as the day it was printed, choice centering, also with significant shifted vignette which is far down into the lettering, Extremely Fine, a most unusual stamp, with 1992 P.F. and 2010 P.S.E. certificates (VF-XF 85; SMQ $1,200.00), the SMQ value does not take into consideration the shifted vignette
$2.00 Orange Red & Black (523). Mint N.H., wide margins, easily a Jumbo, well-centered, reperfed at bottom, Extremely Fine appearance, with 1991 P.F. certificate that does not mention the reperforation and 2008 P.S.E. certificate

The top left stamp is particularly noteworthy for its margins and centering. We have offered only two other Mint N.H. blocks in the last 10 years

The selvage on this plate block is unusually wide for the issue.
