Philippines, 1936, Feb. 23-Oct. 25: Philippines-Guam-Hawaii-United States, "Whipple S. Hall" Clipper Flights Collection (mostly AAMC 107a). Exceptional collection of 86 covers nearly all addressed to Whipple S. Hall, care of postmasters at destinations, these are mostly AAMC No. 107a but a couple other flight listings as well, covering flights 1-29 with printed flight numbers at tops of covers, flights 1-17 are complete except missing one leg, flights 18-22 complete except missing three legs, also with covers for flights 23 and 26-29, includes some duplicate covers, each franked with a variety of Philippines stamps including blocks, special cachets including some elaborate, flight histories on back and many signed by the crew, nice condition with just some typical minor toning or soiling on some, Very Fine and in all likelihood a unique collection, total AAMC value $15,315
Philippines, 1939, 2c Rose, Booklet Pane of Six, Bottom Left Stamp "Wealth Common-" (433b). Mint N.H., rich color, fresh and Fine, a rare booklet pane, it has been stated by experts in the past that only 24 panes were printed, we believe the number to be slightly higher, based on the observed population (we are aware of five complete booklets and a handful of single panes)
