1907, 1c on 2c Carmine, Postal Card, Double Surcharge (UX1a; UPSS S1a). Clear second oveprint, cancelled by "Paraiso May 7 12.M" (1913?) duplex datestamp and addressed locallyVERY FINE. ONE OF ONLY TWO RECORDED USED EXAMPLES WITH THE FIRST CANAL ZONE POSTAL CARD WITH DOUBLE SURCHARGE. A GREAT RARITY.

Both overprints on the indicia, the card is miscut causing part of printed instructions to appear at bottom, some toning, bend at top right thru the indicia (no faults mentioned on certificate), Very Fine appearance, this is the only known double overprint on a miscut card, with 1979 P.F. certificate as sound, UPSS $2,000.00
1908, 1c Green & Black, Postal Card, Ty. 5, Double Ovpt. (UX2a; UPSS S7a). Second overprint shifted far down into to the address panel and angled, small thin and toned spot at bottom left, Very Fine appearance, one of the most dramatic of the double overprints, UPSS $2,500.00

Dec. 17, 1913 17:30PM" duplex datestamp and addressed to Joseph P. Coveleski in Gatun, with a note on back stating he received this card from the postmaster at Culebra, couple trivial soiled spots and small surface scrape, all unimportant to this unique errorVERY FINE APPEARANCE. THE ONLY RECORDED EXAMPLE OF THE 1908 ONE-CENT GREEN & BLACK POSTAL CARD WITH "ZONE CANAL" OVERPRINT READING UP. A GREAT RARITY.
