3c Red on White, Die 3, Cut Square (U5). Unused, 34 x 36mm, bright colorVERY FINE AND CHOICE. AN EXTREMELY RARE CUT SQUARE OF THE 3-CENT RED ON WHITE DIE 3 NESBITT ISSUE. VERY FEW UNUSED EXAMPLES ARE KNOWN.
Only one unused entire is known, as are perhaps four or five unused cut squares. With copy of 1980 P.F. certificate.
3c Red on Buff, Die 3, Full Corner (U6). Unused, 35 x 36.5mm, intense color, Very Fine, very scarce, listed but unpriced in Scott as an entire, Scott Retail as cut square
1c Blue on Manila, Star Die, Cut Square (W25). 44 x 35mm, rich color, bold strike of quartered cork cancel, Extremely Fine, very scarce, we have offered only one used wrapper and one other used cut square since keeping computerized records

3c Pink entire, Nesbitt Advertising Collar (U59 var). With red "George F. Nesbitt & Co., Stationers New-York." collar (UPSS Ty. 1), bright colors, Extremely Fine, ex Barkhausen with the collection backstamp, UPSS value
1c Light Blue on Orange entire, Seebeck Advertising Collar (U116 var). Collar in red (UPSS Ty. 1), cancelled by New York oval and addressed to New Albany Ind., some minor corner wear, otherwise Very Fine, UPSS value
2c Vermilion on Manila, Cut Square (W138). Unused, with top flap of wrapper, 55 x 46mm, intense color and impression, light horizontal creases just above design not mentioned on accompanying certificateVERY FINE APPEARANCE. AN EXTREMELY RARE EXAMPLE OF THE 2-CENT VERMILION ON MANILA ISSUE. ONE OF THE GREAT RARITIES OF POSTAL STATIONERY COLLECTING.
Porter Venn notes that one entire is known, but that it is a Specimen. He only records two cut squares and one full corner.

2c Vermilion on Orange, Cut Square (U145). Unused, 33 x 35mm, rich color and detailed impressionVERY FINE AND CHOICE. THE 2-CENT VERMILION ON ORANGE IS ONE OF THE RAREST OF ALL POSTAL STATIONERY ISSUES. ONE OF THE KEYS TO A COMPLETE COLLECTION OF THESE ISSUES.
As an indication of rarity, none was offered in the Todd, Summers, Floyd, Wampler, Saddleback or Schiller Collections. It is believed that two entires (both ex White) and three or four cut squares are known. The entire is unlisted in Scott.

2c Red on Fawn, Cut Square (U249). Unused, 42 x 44mm, bright color, with flap at right, diagonal crease at bottom away from design, Very Fine appearance
1c Blue on Oriental Buff, Cut Square (U298). Two separate impressions struck 4mm apart, 48 x 81mm, light diagonal crease just clear of bottom impressionVERY FINE. A REMARKABLE EXAMPLE OF THE ONE-CENT BLUE ON ORIENTAL BUFF WITH TWO IMPRESSIONS. A PHENOMENAL RARITY.

4c Brown on White, Cut Square (U373). Unused, 33 x 37mm, rich colorVERY FINE. A RARE EXAMPLE OF THE 1899 4-CENT BROWN ON WHITE CUT SQUARE.
With copy of 1979 P.F. certificate
2c Green on White entire, Die 1, Error of Color (U429i). Unused, bright color, with Queen Laundry of Bisbee Arizona printed return address and address window, typed note inserted stating that five were found, top flap sealedVERY FINE. A BEAUTIFUL EXAMPLE OF THE RARE 2-CENT GREEN ON WHITE ERROR OF COLOR. ONLY FIVE ENTIRES ARE BELIEVED TO EXIST.
The last we offered was in our 2007 Saddleback sale. A search of over 700 past Siegel catalogues (available at http://www.siegelauctions.com/pdf.php ), found no others offered by us since 1975.
2c Carmine on White entire, Die 6, Triple Impression (U429o, UPSS 2256 var). One normal impression, second and third lighter, one struck partly over edge with part of design on back, uncancelled, printed address, small piece torn out of backflap, soiling and few other small flaws, Fine appearance and scarce, with 2012 Weiss certificate, unlisted in UPSS, listed but not priced in Scott, Scott Retail as unused double impression No. U429m, $1,750.00
2c Carmine on White entire, Die 1, Double Impression, One on Back (U429p). One normal impression, second complete and printed on back, used with 1c Green tied by Chester Pa. machine cancels, on 1918 cover to Westwood Mass., Very Fine, we are informed that this will be listed in the 2014 Scott Specialized as U429p, with 2012 Weiss certificate, unlisted in UPSS, Scott Retail as unused Double Impression No. U429m, $1,750.00
2c Carmine on Blue entire, Die 1, Error of Paper (U525b; UPSS 3267). Size 13, knife 78, watermark 28, unused, deep rich color, trivial edge soiling of no consequenceVERY FINE AND CHOICE EXAMPLE OF THE RARE 2-CENT WASHINGTON BICENTENNIAL ISSUE ERROR ON BLUE PAPER. ONLY TWO ARE BELIEVED TO EXIST. ONE OF THE GREATEST RARITIES OF POSTAL STATIONERY COLLECTING.
The only other example we were able to find was offered in our Saddleback Collection in 2007. All other major name sales have lacked this great rarity.
