CANAL ZONE, 1904, 1c Green, Inverted Ovpt. (9c, CZSG 9c). Neat cancel, deep rich color, small tear at leftFINE APPEARANCE. ONLY SIX EXAMPLES OF THIS CANAL ZONE RARITY ARE RECORDED.
The authors of Canal Zone Stamps record only six copies. They state that one is possibly unused (it may have a light cancel) and all others are confirmed as used. We have offered only one other, in 2009.
With 1963 P.F. certificate
CANAL ZONE, 1904, 1c Green, Double Ovpt. (9d, CZSG 9d). Large part original gum, deep rich color, clear doubling of the overprint, indentations on gum not mentioned on accompanying certificateVERY FINE. ONE OF THE FINEST EXAMPLES OF THE ONE-CENT 1904 MAP ISSUE WITH DOUBLE OVERPRINT.
According to Canal Zone Stamps, ten unused and eight used copies are recorded. Most of the unused copies have defects, including marks on the face, creases or other serious faults. The example offered here is in far better condition than most.

CANAL ZONE, 1907, 1c Green & Black, Imperforate Horizontally (22c, CZSG 22c). Vertical strip of three with horizontal perforations at bottom only, slightly disturbed original gum, deep rich colors, wide margins, rounded corner at bottom left not affecting error pairVERY FINE AND CHOICE. A RARE EXAMPLE OF THIS IMPERFORATE HORIZONTALLY ERROR. ONLY 20 PAIRS WERE ISSUED, AND MOST HAVE BEEN LOST TO PHILATELY.
According to Canal Zone Stamps, the top five rows of one pane were missing the horizontal perforations. Evidently most of the errors were used, as only three unused pairs and two strips of three (both with perforations at bottom) are known.

CANAL ZONE, 1918, 2c Vermilion & Black, Horizontal Pair, Right Stamp Without Ovpt. (53b). Selvage at right, right stamp missing overprint, slightly disturbed original gum, brilliant color, choice centering, Extremely Fine, the error was caused when one sheet was misfed into the printing press, and the right vertical row did not receive the overprint; two additional copies are known caused by a foldover.

Selvage at right, right stamp missing overprint, slightly disturbed original gum, slight color oxidation, Fine, this error was caused when one sheet was misfed into the printing press, and the right vertical row of ten did not receive the overprint, two additional copies are known caused by a foldover

CANAL ZONE, 1924, 5c-1b Coat of Arms, Unissued Set (68 var-69 var; CZSG 69.A-69.G). Seven stamps representing the complete set of the unissued Coat of Arms values above the 2c, slightly tropicalized original gum, rich colors, Very Fine, these were prepared but never issued as the use of overprinted U.S. stamps began in April 1925, 600 sets were sent to the Director General of Posts of Panama, ostensibly for transmission to the UPU in Switzerland, a small number of sets ended up in the hands of dealers, the balance of the supply was destroyed in 1937

Seven stamps representing the complete set of the unissued Coat of Arms values above the 2c, 50c with dropped "E" variety, tropicalized original gum, rich colors, these were prepared but never issued as the use of overprinted U.S. stamps began in April 1925, 600 sets were sent to the Director General of Posts of Panama, ostensibly for transmission to the UPU in Switzerland, a small number of sets ended up in the hands of dealers, the balance of the supply was destroyed in 1937

Complete set less the two rarities, also extra 1c and 5c and 5c selvage block of four, plus Special Delivery, original gum with disturbance or h.r., a few small flaws, high values signed Champion, Fine-Very Fine appearance
PHILIPPINES, 1901, $1.00 Black, Ty. II (223A). Original gum, premium centering which is much better than typically found, intense shade, Very Fine and choice
PHILIPPINES, 1899-1901, 1c-$5.00 Ovpts. (213/225). Set less Nos. 217A, 222 and 223A, original gum, h.r., rich colors, 15c small thin spot, Fine-Very Fine or appears so
PHILIPPINES, 1901, $2.00 Dark Blue (224). Block of four with horizontal guideline, lightly hinged, deep shade and sharp impression, choice centering, Very Fine, with 2003 P.F. certificate which incorrectly states this is Scott No. 238
PHILIPPINES, 1926, 2c-10p Air Post Overprints (C1-C6, C9-C15, C17). Complete set except for the two rare 16c Sampson and the 26c Perf 12, mostly h.r., 10p slightly tropicalized original gum, Fine set, 10p with 1951 P.F. certificate, four high values with 1963 Diena certificates
U.S. Possessions Balance. Mostly unused original gum group including a range of nine early Philippines with No. 224, several Guam including couple used such as M4 on piece, 8c Puerto Rico, a couple others, Fine-Very Fine, Scott Retail in excess of $1,500.00
