Attractively mounted collection containing a wonderful study of these cancels, starts with some collateral items such as stereoscopic photo of the P.M.S.S. Japan in dry dock in San Francisco, including First Issue perforated 2c (mostly R15c) showing 19 different ship straightlines, more First Issue such as Ocean Queen, Rising Star, Sonora, Golden Age, Hermann, Japan, Montana, Henry Chauncey, Alaska, Ariel and others, also seven Second Issue showing cancels from Sacramento, St. Louis and Great Republic, some with double strikes or more including R82c with three strikes from Rising Star and four strikes from Alaska, five used on Third Issue stamps including all with multiple strikes and one struck by both Alaska and Montana, some faults, overall Very Fine strikes, this is an extremely rare group, we are offering this collection intact as this will give collectors an opportunity to acquire an advanced collection of these issues which can be difficult if not impossible to find
