A RARE EXAMPLE OF THE 1894 96-CENT UNWATERMARKED BUREAU NEWSPAPER ISSUE. ONE OF THE GREATEST OF ALL NEWSPAPER ISSUE RARITIES -- ONLY ELEVEN ARE CONTAINED IN OUR CENSUS.
Our recently updated census of PR99 (available at http://siegelauctions.com/dynamic/census/PR99/PR99.pdf ) contains eleven unused copies and none used. Of these only two are confirmed as sound (two others need to be re-examined for condition). Only five others are confirmed as having gum.
