III (26) tied by "Leavanworth City K. T. Oct. 22, 1859" circular datestamp, edge flaws (some repaired) and with right flap removed, still Fine, scarce, this express company was started by William H. Russell and his partners, it was taken over by the Central Overland California and Pike's Peak Express Co. of Pony Express fame when its debts became too burdensome, ex Senchuk
