3c Purple, Ty. IV (530). Horizontal block of 20, natural s.e. at right, selvage at left showing full impressions of parts of two other stamps shifted slightly higher than the normal stamps, black paper remnants on back, hinge reinforcements and thin spots, an inexplicable printing error of amazing appearance, the owner bought this item nearly 40 years ago in one of our auctions for $350, a few others may exist but their whereabouts are unknown to us, a great showpiece for a specialized Offset Issue collection
