$24.00 Dark Gray Violet, 1875 Issue (PR29). Unused (no gum), rich color, fresh and Fine, with 1996 P.S.E. certificate
12c Pale Rose, 1875 Special Printing (PR40). Without gum as issued, brilliant color, Very Fine, only 1313 sold, with 1985 and 2003 P.F. certificates
84c Red, 1879 Issue (PR69). Mint N.H., vivid color, attractive margins and centering, Fine and very elusive in Mint N.H. condition, with copy of 2006 P.F. certificate for a block of four, Scott Retail as hinged
84c Carmine, 1885 Issue (PR88). Original gum, fresh color, well-centered with nicely balanced margins, fresh and Very Fine, with 2010 P.S.E. certificate (VF 80; SMQ $775.00)
1c Intense Black, 1894 Issue (PR90). Original gum, h.r., intense shade and impression, Jumbo margins, Extremely Fine, a huge stamp, ex Floyd and Inman, with 2001 P.F. and 2017 P.S.E. certificates (OGh, XF 90 Jumbo; SMQ $810.00 as 90, $1,400.00 as 95), only one PR90 grades higher in any condition (hinged at 95)
12c Pink, 1894 Issue (PR95). Original gum, lightly hinged, brilliant color, choice centering with enormous Jumbo marginsEXTREMELY FINE GEM. A BEAUTIFUL AND PRISTINE EXAMPLE OF THE 12-CENT 1894 UNWATERMARKED NEWSPAPER ISSUE, GRADED XF-SUPERB 95 BY P.S.E. THIS STANDS ALONE AS THE HIGHEST GRADED.
This is a difficult issue to obtain in sound condition with such choice centering. We would rank this among the top two or three we have encountered.
Ex Inman. With 2001 P.F. and 2016 P.S.E. certificates (OGph, XF-Superb 95 Jumbo; SMQ $10,000.00). This is the highest grade awarded and it is shared by no others.

The 1895 Watermarked Issue is much scarcer in used condition than unused. With 2003 P.F. and 2019 P.S.E. certificates (Superb 98 Jumbo; SMQ $4,000.00). This is the highest grade awarded and it is shared by only one other. Even among the vastly more plentiful unused supply of this stamp, only one grades higher than 98J.
