Wide margins and perfect centering, rich color beautifully complemented by purple star in circle cancel, Extremely Fine Gem, a truly superb stamp with a premium cancel, with 2008 P.S.E. certificate (Superb 98; SMQ $160.00 for normal cancel), this is the highest grade awarded to any used 12c War stamp -- either hard or soft paper -- the next highest is a 95J from our Kirke sale and that stamp has an indistinct black cork cancel, we have not seen the match to this stamp in any of our auctions
