Substantial collection housed in seven Scott "Platinum" hingeless albums with slip cases, to 1996, predominately used to about 1879, virtually all unused thereafter, nineteenth century incl. No. 1 (pen cancel removed), largely complete 1851, 1857 and 1861 Issues less the rarest stamps, some grills featuring a 12c Z Grill (1999 APS certificate mentioning a crease), 1869 Pictorials complete less 3c, nearly complete Large Bank Notes less Special Printings, 1890 issue compete, Columbians to 50c, good showing of 1894-98 First Bureaus and Trans-Mississippi to $1.00, 20th Century with all the better commemoratives, fairly complete Washington-Franklins with some questionable flat plate coils as usual, essentially complete thereafter, Back-of-Book incl.
