Complete set of plate no. blocks of six (C3 plate block of 12), all are tops except C6 left, gum condition as follows: C1 Mint N.H., minor gum bends; C2 Mint N.H. with short gum at top; C3 stamps Mint N.H. and h.r. in selvage (two stamps with large gum skips); C4 stamps Mint N.H. and h.r. in selvage; C5 stamps Mint N.H. and hinged in selvage; C6 lightly hinged, bright and fresh colors, well-centered essentially throughoutVERY FINE-EXTREMELY FINE. A CHOICE COMPLETE SET OF PLATE BLOCKS OF THE 1918-23 AIR POST ISSUES, WITH NEARLY ALL MINT NEVER-HINGED STAMPS.
This is a fresh and beautiful set made more desirable by the top positions.

With 2021 P.S.E. certificate (Gem 100 Jumbo; unpriced in SMQ at this grade). This is one of only two C11's to achieve this highest of grades. A Gem 100 -- without the Jumbo appellation -- realized $7,500 hammer in one of our 2019 sales (Sale 1212, lot 306, population of one).
