Substantial 19th and 20th Century United States Collection. Several hundred stamps in Scott National album, starts with 5c New York Postmaster Provisional, then 5c and 10c 1847 (two of the 10c), 1851 with 1c Ty. II and IV, couple 3c Orange Browns, 10c Ty. II-IV, two single 12c and a pair, 1857 with 1c Ty.. II, IIIa and IV, 5c Brown Ty. I, 5c Orange Brown and Brown Ty. II, all five different 10c types, 12c-30c and unused 90c, 1861 virtually complete plus six different plate proofs on card, 1867 Grills with 3c A, 3c C (two), 2c and 3c D, 2c and 12c Z and essentially complete E and F, 1869 Pictorial complete, 1870 Grilled Bank Notes mostly complete, evidently complete 1870 Ungrilled Bank Notes through 1890, unused Columbian to $1.00, 1c-$5.00 1894-98 Bureau Issues evidently complete and 1c-$2.00 Trans-Mississippi complete, 20th Century essentially complete to 1973 less rarities and a few others, early part nearly all used, essentially all unused after 1925, incl. unused 1c-10c Pan-Americans, used 1c-$5.00 1902-03, some better unused incl. Nos. 523-524, 545-547, 572-573, 578-579, 595, 630, 659-679, there are also some blocks of four scattered throughout and a few other varieties, condition is mixed, especially among the early issues, still lots of useful Fine-Very Fine value to be found, considerable catalog value

Dealer's U.S. Retail Stock. Many hundreds of used and unused stamps on retail pages in eleven three-ring binders, various quantities with a fairly good variety of Scott numbers represented, incl. two No. 1's, 2, 11 large part original gum strip of three, nice used 15, some better 1857's, few better 1867 Grills, 1869 with values to 90c, nice selection of Bank Note Issues, Columbian to 50c, Bureaus incl. two 2c Booklet Panes of six and continues similarly for twentieth century to 1954 with some late miscellany, also a binder of modern Plate No. Coils and a binder of 1920's-50's Plate Blocks, prices range from inexpensive to some around $100.00 to $200.00 with a scattering of higher priced items, condition is quite mixed, Very Good-Very Fine appearance

Balance of 19th Century Collection. Well over 100 nearly all different 1857-88 Issues on hingeless pages, mostly used, 1857 incl. Nos. 20 and 30A (red grid cancels), couple better 10c Green types, 12c and 24c, original gum block of four of No. 26, 1861 with used no. 62B, used 75 and several apparently unused high values, E. Grills mostly complete with 5c-12c and 30c used, plus a possibly unused 10c, 1869 Pictorials complete to 24c, mostly unused or unused appearing (24c clearly used), fairly complete Bank Notes (only three lower value grills) used or unused, condition is very mixed but there is considerable catalog value here and could be quite a bit higher if some of these stamps prove to be unused, Good-Fine, adventurous lot

Several hundred 1851-82 Issues in a stockbook, mostly in small to large quantities, many different, some better quantities incl. 33 (6), 35 (12), 68 (35), 69 (9), 77 (26), 96 (6), 97 (5), 115-117 and 119 (4 each), 148 (21), 149 (25), 153 (7), 162 (7), 189 (24) and 190 (11), there are some others where there are only one or two as Nos. 13, 15, 38, 91 and 120, plus many more lower catalog value stamps not mentioned and any stamp with severe defects was not counted in our estimate, very mixed condition so don't expect to find Extremely Fine Gems here, nevertheless there is still a decent amount of Fine and possibly some Very Fine to be found, high catalog value

(2000 P.F. certificate), 1922-25 complete to $2.00 less three values, White Plains souvenir sheet, 1931 Regular Issue to 50c, Kans.-Nebr.Ovpts. less four values, evidently complete thereafter, the modern does incl. a Legends of the West error sheet and Bugs Bunny No. 3138, back-of-the-book with Air Post complete less Nos. Varied assortment of material, incl. two glassine boxes of blocks and plate no. blocks, one box contains quite a bit of premium material from the 1920's and 30's, stock book which starts with Columbians in small quantities to the 30c (virtually all unused, no gum), then later Commemoratives virtually all original gum, few better Cut Squares and a rather nice group of mostly unused entires from the Bank Note period, accumulation of early Revenues sorted into small envelopes, some Mint Sheets, some of the highlights incl. 378 and 416 blocks of six, $5.00 Presidential plate block of four, C1-C6, used C1-C3 blocks of four and mint C18, also a few Possessions with a 50c Guam Ovpt. tied on piece, of course there is a lot more so be prepared to spend some time going through this interesting and valuable lot, much Mint N.H. and Fine-Very Fine
