Mint N.H., intense shade and proof-like impression on post-office fresh paper, mathematically perfect centering, long and full perforations, Extremely Fine Gem, with 2008 P.S.E. certificate (Gem 100; unpriced in SMQ above the grade of 98, SMQ $570.00 as 98), only one has graded higher to date and only one other shares this grade
8c Olive Green (560). Mint N.H. bottom plate no. 15264 block of six with wide selvage, pretty color, well-centered throughout, Very Fine and choice

$1.00 Violet Black (571). Mint N.H. horizontal block of twelve with center arrow marker and plate no. 18642 at sides, Fine-Very Fine with the vast majority in the higher grade
$2.00 Deep Blue (572). Mint N.H., perfect centering crisp and bright, Extremely Fine Gem, some believe this value of the 1922-25 Issue is harder to find in this quality than the $5.00, with 1989 P.F. and 2006 P.S.E. certificates (Superb 98; SMQ $2,150.00)

2c 1922 Postal Forgeries. Two blocks of four, Scott Type A157 (similar to No. 583), these are usually referred to as the Boston or New York forgery, Mint N.H. with a few of the normal gum skips, one is perforated 11.75 and the other 14 (with right selvage, s.e. at bottom), Fine-Very Fine, with Varro Tyler article, which does not mention the Perf 14 type (it is mentioned by Petschel in "Spurious Stamps")
3c Violet, Perf 10 (584). Mint N.H., rich color on bright paper, perfectly centeredEXTREMELY FINE GEM. A SUPERB MINT NEVER-HINGED EXAMPLE OF THE 1925 3-CENT PERF 10, WHICH HAS BEEN GRADED SUPERB 98 BY P.S.E.
With 2007 P.S.E. certificate (Superb 98; SMQ $2,050.00). Only one has graded higher to date and only six others share this grade
4c Yellow Brown, Perf 10 (585). Mint N.H., essentially perfect centering with wonderful fresh color, Extremely Fine Gem, with 2007 P.S.E. certificate (XF-Superb 95; SMQ $500.00)
8c Olive Green, Perf 10 (589). Mint N.H., fabulous mathematical centering, vivid color on crisp paperEXTREMELY FINE GEM. IN A WORD, "PERFECTION." ONE OF ONLY TWO EXAMPLES OF SCOTT 589 TO ACHIEVE THE PERFECT P.S.E. GRADE OF GEM 100.
