Our census of Scott 125 in used condition, available at http://siegelauctions.com/census/us/scott/125 , contains only 17 copies, including one on piece and one on the recently re-emerged Caspary cover. Of the used off-cover copies, only four are confirmed as sound.

12c Green, Re-Issue (128). Almost perfect centering with wide and balanced margins, deep rich color, bold cork cancelEXTREMELY FINE GEM. A SUPERB USED EXAMPLE OF THE 12-CENT 1869 PICTORIAL RE-ISSUE. AN EXCEEDINGLY DIFFICULT STAMP TO FIND IN SOUND CONDITION WITH SUCH EXCEPTIONAL MARGINS AND CENTERING -- EASILY ONE OF THE FINEST IN EXISTENCE.
The 12c is the second rarest value of the 1869 Re-issue set in used condition, behind only the 3c. The Rose book estimates 15-25 extant used copies and SMQ estimates 20 extant. We believe there are a bit more than that but copies with wide and balanced margins and no faults are extremely rare.

SMQ estimates that approximately 40 examples of the 30c Re-Issue are known used. Our experience has been that many are either off-center or have small faults.

30c Ultramarine & Carmine, Re-Issue (131). Attractive centering and margins, particularly fresh and bright colors, light oval registry cancelVERY FINE USED EXAMPLE OF THE 30-CENT 1869 PICTORIAL RE-ISSUE.

90c Carmine & Black, Re-Issue (132). Deep rich frame color and proof-like impressions, near perfect centering with wide margins, light and unobtrusive registry oval cancelEXTREMELY FINE GEM. A SUPERB USED EXAMPLE OF THE 90-CENT 1869 PICTORIAL RE-ISSUE -- EASILY ONE OF THE FINEST IN EXISTENCE.
SMQ estimates that approximately 40 used copies exist. Most are either off-center or have small faults. This sound stamp, with wide margins, choice centering and a light cancel, is a true condition rarity.

1c Buff, 1880 Re-Issue (133). Vertical block of six, bold St. Louis oval cancels, extraordinary centering and rich color, very faint water or gum stains show only on back, tiny corner perf crease at top leftEXTREMELY FINE AND VERY RARE USED BLOCK OF THE ONE-CENT 1880 RE-ISSUE.
Ex Dr. Heimburger. With 2013 P.F. certificate noting only the tiny perf crease. Scott does not list a used block. Scott value as singles.
1c Brown Orange, 1881 Re-Issue (133a). Wide margins and choice centering, rich color, lightly cancelled, Extremely Fine, with 2003 P.F. certificate
1869 Pictorial Issue, Cancellation Balance (112/117). Choice balance of 17 stamps, including Nos. 112 (four), 114 (six), 115, 116 (five) and 117, nice range of cancels including 1c with Leaf, blue Mass. town, Waterbury Conn. Rosette (Rohloff P-12) and fancy crossroads, 3c with Leominster Mass. Stovepipe, numeral "16", orange target, negative letter "J", Masonic, 6c with unusual blue Propeller, 10c including blue merchant's handstamp, large "PAID", 6-point Hollow Star, others, the 12c is not a cancel variety but rather a split grill, nearly all are sound with only the 6c showing a serious fault (large thin spot), overall a Fine-Very Fine and desirable group, all but the 6c are certified with 19 total P.F. certificates
