1861-66 Issue Balance. Over 160 used stamps, fantastic range of varieties including five of No. 62B, seven in No. 67 family with several shades, three 12c, four 30c, triple transfer and double transfers on Black Jacks, nice showing of the 15c with one with part imprint in selvage at top (reattached), also range of 3c shades, few other 5c shades in the No. 75 and 76 family, also No. 57 shaved and perforated proof, eleven 24c also in a range of shades, few with interesting cancels or plating marks, mixed condition but overall many Fine, a very worthwhile group for the specialist

Over 175 covers, virtually all selected by an astute student of philately for something interesting, nice range of shades with probably a half-dozen or more Pinks (two with PFC's), thirteen Patriotics, a half-dozen with green cancels ranging from bright to deep, couple of advertising covers, some with letters including "J" in grid, "OK" of Saratoga Springs N.Y., "LV" of Lockport N.Y., three with Albany N.Y. punch cancels, several fancy cancels including stars, geometrics, shield, also one with docketing "Flag Ship, So. Atlantic Block Squadn." denoting sender, several other interesting, usual condition with many Fine-Very Fine, a fascinating group
