ESPECIALLY DESIRABLE IN THE CARMINE ROSE SUB-SHADE.
With 1964 and 2007 P.F. certificates (the former not mentioning rejoining). Unpriced in Scott in the Carmine Rose sub-shade. Scott Retail as two singles in the normal shade.
2c Red, Ty. I, Coil (449). Extraordinarily well-centered, bold machine cancellation, tiny corner perf crease at bottom right, appears Extremely Fine, scarce used coil, with 2007 P.F. certificate
2c Carmine, Ty. III, Coil (450). Mint N.H. pair, flawlessly centered, bright color, Extremely Fine Gem, with 2007 P.S.E. certificate (Superb 98; SMQ unpriced, valued at $340.00 in 95 grade, Mint N.H. single in 98 grade is priced at $355.00 ), this is a notoriously difficult stamp to find in superb condition, not surprisingly this is the only pair of this stamp to have been awarded the lofty grade of 98 and there is none graded higher
