1c Bright Blue, Reprint (40). Without gum as issued, brilliant color on bright paper, perfectly centered with unusually wide margins, long and full perforations all aroundEXTREMELY FINE GEM. WITHOUT QUESTION THIS IS ONE OF THE FINEST EXAMPLES OF THE ONE-CENT 1857 ISSUE REPRINT IN EXISTENCE. A STAMP OF REMARKABLE BEAUTY AND FRESHNESS.

3c Scarlet, Reprint (41). Without gum as issued, vibrant color as fresh as the day it was printed, choice centering for this difficult issue, perfs scissors-trimmed but intact at rightVERY FINE AND CHOICE. A BEAUTIFUL EXAMPLE OF THE 3-CENT 1857 REPRINT.
This is the most difficult stamp of the series to obtain in such choice condition, as only 479 were sold.

5c Orange Brown, Reprint (42). Without gum as issued, rich color, wide marginsEXTREMELY FINE EXAMPLE OF THE 5-CENT 1857 REPRINT.
Only 878 sold. With 1992 P.F. certificate
10c Blue Green, Reprint (43). Without gum as issued, deep rich color which jumps off of the bright paper, gorgeous centering with well-proportioned marginsEXTREMELY FINE GEM. ONE OF THE FINEST COPIES EXTANT OF THE 10-CENT 1857 REPRINT. THIS IS ONE OF THE MOST DIFFICULT VALUES OF THE SET TO OBTAIN IN SOUND, EXTREMELY FINE CONDITION.
Only 516 were sold. As a means of comparing the quality of this stamp against some of the other existing copies, we searched through our Levi records and several past auction catalogues, looking for examples in comparable condition. Perhaps five in our records of hundreds of surviving examples compared favorably to the stamp offered here.

12c Greenish Black, Reprint (44). Without gum as issued, pretty shade and detailed impression, choice centering for this difficult issue with well-balanced marginsEXTREMELY FINE. A BEAUTIFUL EXAMPLE OF THE 12-CENT 1857 REPRINT. SCARCE IN SUCH MARVELOUS CONDITION.

24c Blackish Violet, Reprint (45). Without gum as issued, deep rich color and proof-like impression, unusually choice centering with wide and balanced marginsEXTREMELY FINE EXAMPLE OF THE 24-CENT 1857 REPRINT.
Only 479 were sold. Of these, very few have perforations clear of the design on all four sides.
