$1.00 1934 Hunting Permit (RW1). Mint N.H. bottom right plate no. 129202 block of six, deep rich color, phenomenally well-centeredEXTREMELY FINE. A BEAUTIFUL MINT NEVER-HINGED PLATE BLOCK OF THE FIRST FEDERAL DUCK STAMP. A TRUE RARITY IN THIS EXCEPTIONAL CONDITION AND CERTAINLY ONE OF THE FINEST KNOWN.
The design of this stamp was done by Jay "Ding" Darling based on the etching Mallards Dropping In. This is the ultimate Hunting Permit plate block as well as being a key item for a topical bird collector.
According to Bob Dumaine, dealer and noted authority on duck stamps, there are perhaps less than fifteen No. RW1 plate blocks of this caliber in existence. With 2002 P.S.E. certificate

Designed by Frank Weston Benson, this issue shows Canvasback Ducks taking flight. These ducks are a diving species which are highly migratory in the United States.

This issue was designed by Richard E. Bishop and portrays Canadian Geese in flight. These geese are native to North America and breed in Canada and the northern United States.

Designed by Joseph D. Knap, the image shows Scaup Ducks in flight. Also known as a Little Bluebill for their distinctive blue bills, these are diving ducks that are known to migrate as far south as Central America.
