1c Yosemite, Vertical Pair, Imperforate Horizontally (740a). Bottom margin block of four, small h.r., rich color, Pos. 31-32/41-42 and "S.A." (Spencer Anderson) lightly noted in pencil on gum, natural s.e. at leftEXTREMELY FINE. A RARE MULTIPLE OF THE ONE-CENT IMPERFORATE HORIZONTALLY PARKS ISSUE.
Datz states sixteen pairs or strips of three known. With 1994 P.F. certificate (small part of margin cut off since then for aesthetic purposes). Scott Retail as two pairs
2c Grand Canyon, Vertical Pair, Imperforate Horizontally (741a). Mint N.H., far better centering than typically seen, bright color on fresh white paper, Extremely Fine, certainly one of the finest pairs known, only 2-3 panes recorded, ex Floyd, with 1994 P.F. certificate
2c Grand Canyon, Vertical Pair, Imperforate Horizontally (741a). H.r., wide margins, fresh color, tiny thin not mentioned on accompanying certificate, Very Fine appearance, only 2-3 panes were discovered, with 1969 P.F. certificate
2c Grand Canyon, Horizontal Pair, Imperforate Vertically (741b var). Vertical pair with selvage at left, imperforate between selvage and stamp, lightly hinged, natural diagonal gum crease not mentioned on accompanying certificate, Very Fine, signed by Koslow and with "HH" backstamp, with 1968 P.F. certificate, Scott Retail as Scott-listed pair $1,000.00
3c Mt. Ranier, Vertical Pair, Imperforate Horizontally (742a). Mint N.H. with bottom sheet margin and part arrow, natural s.e. at left, wide margins, fresh color, light natural gum bend and tiny gum skip not mentioned on accompany certificate, Very Fine and choice, only one pane discovered, with 1969 P.F. certificate
3c Mt. Ranier, Vertical Pair, Imperforate Horizontally (742a). Mint N.H. with selvage at right, deep rich color, wide margins, certificate mentions light vertical crease which we feel is a natural gum bend, Very Fine, only one pane discovered, with 1987 P.F. certificate
4c Mesa Verde, Vertical Pair, Imperforate Horizontally (743a). Mint N.H. with selvage at left, without the brown Post Office paper on reverse, well-centered with wide margins, deep rich color, typical natural gum creaseEXTREMELY FINE. A RARE EXAMPLE OF THE 4-CENT MESA VERDE IMPERFORATE BETWEEN ERROR. ONE OF THE FINEST EXAMPLES KNOWN.
Only 15 pairs have been recorded, and 6-9 have the Post Office paper adherence. Ex Liberman. With 1978 P.F. certificate
