Large margins to just touched incl. part of adjoining stamp at right, tied by well-struck grid of diamonds handstamp, matching "Pisa 27 Set., 1872" circular datestamp on newspaper wrapper made from letter with Feb. 18, 1852 date inside, to Siena, bold "PD" handstamp, receiving backstamp, cover with trivial wearVERY FINE. AN EXCEEDINGLY RARE SINGLE FRANKING OF THE 1852 ONE-QUATTRINI FIRST ISSUE OF TUSCANY USED ON A NEWSPAPER WRAPPER MADE FROM AN OLD LETTER.

Two of first, large margins to just in, two bold strikes of "O" handstamp and tied by Correos La Guaira Ene 8" double-circle datestamp on blue 1861 folded cover to Caracas, right stamp small indentations from cancelVERY FINE. AN ATTRACTIVE AND COLORFUL FRANKING OF THE HALF-REAL AND ONE-REAL FIRST ISSUE OF VENEZUELA.
The franking pays double the internal letter rate.
