Mint N.H. pair, perfect centering, beautiful color on post-office fresh paper, tiny natural inclusion in right stamp, Extremely Fine Gem, a superb pair, with 2005 P.S.E. certificate (Superb 98; SMQ $400.00), this is the highest grade awarded to date and only five others share this grade

5c Blue, Coil (496). Mint N.H. joint line pair, rich color and detailed impression, almost mathematically perfect centering with wide margins, Extremely Fine Gem, with 2008 P.S.E. certificate (Superb 98; SMQ $520.00), this is the highest grade awarded to date and only five others share this grade

Brilliant color, bottom stamp Mint N.H., unusually choice centering with wide margins at top and bottom, trivial natural inclusion at topEXTREMELY FINE. AN EXCEEDINGLY RARE ORIGINAL-GUM EXAMPLE OF THE 3-CENT SCOTT 501 VERTICAL PAIR, IMPERFORATE HORIZONTALLY.

3c Light Violet, Ty. I, Double Impression (501d). Good doubling with top and left frame lines of almost equal intensity, wavy-line machine cancel, off-center as always, few small faults, rare, this stamp realized $4,250 hammer in Sale 967 but was returned after the P.F. noted tiny faults, with 2009 P.F. certificate
3c Dark Violet, Ty. II, Vertical Strip of Three, Imperforate Horizontally (502c). Lightly hinged, rich color, choice centering, light natural gum wrinkles not visible on front of stamps and not mentioned on accompanying certificate, Extremely Fine, with 1983 P.F. certificate, Scott Retail as pair with no premium for the third stamp, this is undercatalogued in Scott given its scarcity
4c Brown (503). Mint N.H., brilliant color, crisp impression, perfectly centered with Jumbo margins, Extremely Fine Gem, a gorgeous stamp, with 2009 P.S.E. certificate (Superb 98 Jumbo; unpriced in SMQ above the grade of 98, SMQ $700.00 as 98), only two have graded higher to date
5c Rose, Error (505). Mint N.H., incredibly well-centered, vivid color and crisp impressionEXTREMELY FINE GEM. AN OUTSTANDING EXAMPLE OF THE 5-CENT ROSE PERFORATED 11 ERROR.
Students of the Washington-Franklin Issues can attest to the difficulty of finding this error stamp in reasonable centering. The example offered here is certainly one of the nicer ones.

With 2008 P.S.E. certificate (Gem 100 Jumbo; SMQ $800.00 as 98, unpriced in the 100 and 100J grades). According to the P.S.E. Population Report, this is the only one out of 121 others submitted to have been awarded this ultimate grade
