-1/2c-$1.00 1922-25 Issue (551-571, 575-577). Complete set of plate no. blocks of six through the $1.00, each a top position, mostly Mint N.H. with some lower values hinged including 3c, 4c, 5c, 6c and 8c, 30c also previously hinged (barely), bright and fresh with attractive centering almost throughout, just a couple minor flaws including 6c slightly oxidized, few with reduced selvage including 5c, 4c pulled perf in selvage only, also includes the imperforate Nos. 575-577, also tops except 2c side with large five-point star (more valuable than a top)VERY FINE. A FRESH AND CHOICE SET OF TOP PLATE BLOCKS OF THE 1922 ISSUE, WITH THE MAJORITY MINT NEVER-HINGED.

2c Carmine Rose, Von Steuben, Imperforate (689a). Horizontal pair, original gum, lightly hinged, large margins all around, light natural gum creases, Very Fine, three panes of 100 were originally discovered, the first was returned and destroyed, some stamps from the second pane were used on covers and the remainder was returned, the third pane was discovered in Washington state and purchased intact at the post office, all known examples come from this third pane, with 1991 P.S.E. certificate

Complete sets of plate no. blocks of six, comprising all plates issued and all positions, three plate blocks for each plate including the "F" top plate no., based on other items from this collection we presume they are all or mostly Mint N.H. but they are each encased in a "coffin" mount on album pages so verification would take significant time, Very Fine "around-the-clock" plate block collection, Scott value as Mint N.H. is quite modest but this set would be difficult to reproduce
