Mint N.H. with bottom selvage showing faint impression of "1083" of plate number, brilliant color on bright paper, perfectly centered with Jumbo margins all around, Extremely Fine Gem, a superb stamp, ex Henson, with 2008 P.S.E. certificate (Superb 98 Jumbo; SMQ $2,250.00), only one grades higher (at 100) and one other shares this lofty grade
2c Carmine, Ty. IV (526). Mint N.H., essentially perfect centering with wide margins all around, vivid color, Extremely Fine Gem, with 1998 P.F. and 2021 P.S.E. certificates (Superb 98; SMQ $1,700.00), only three grade higher
2c Carmine Rose, Ty. IV, 2c Carmine, Ty. VI, Imperforate (532, 534A). Mint N.H. top plate no. blocks of six, vivid colors, first with huge margins and Extremely Fine Gem, second with large margins and Extremely Fine
2c Carmine, Ty. V, Imperforate (533). Mint N.H., huge margins all around, intense shade and impression on bright paper, Extremely Fine Gem, with 2005 P.S.E. certificate (Gem 100; SMQ $750.00), this is the highest grade awarded and it is shared by only three others
2c Carmine, Ty. V, Imperforate (533). Mint N.H. top plate no. 11260 block of six, absolutely pristine without any gum bends, huge margins including portions of adjoining stamps at left and right, vivid color, Extremely Fine Gem plate block

2c Carmine, Ty. VII, Imperforate (534B). Mint N.H., large even margins, vivid colorEXTREMELY FINE MINT NEVER-HINGED EXAMPLE OF THE RARE 2-CENT TYPE VII IMPERFORATE OFFSET ISSUE.
Most Type VII stamps were used by private vending and affixing machine companies. However, unlike Scott 314A and 482A, a small supply of the imperforate 2c Type VII stamps did reach the public.

With 1976 P.F. and 2020 P.S.E. certificates (Superb 98; SMQ $2,600.00). Only two grade higher (at 98J and 100) and none share this grade. We are at a loss as to why this is not a Jumbo.
2c Carmine, Ty. VII, Imperforate (534B). Huge margins to full including part of adjoining stamp at bottom, neat wavy-lines machine cancel, Very Fine, with 1978 and 2006 P.F. certificates
1c Gray Green (536). Mint N.H., rich color, wide margins, Extremely Fine Gem, with 2021 P.S.E. certificate (XF-Superb 95; SMQ $450.00)
3c Deep Violet (537a). Original gum, two large h.r., deep rich color in this rare shade, bold "Salem Ohio" precancel, fresh and Fine, a scarce shade, with 2021 P.F. certificate
2c Carmine Rose, Ty. II, Rotary Perf 11 x 10 (539). Original gum, single hinge mark, intense shade and impressionFRESH AND VERY FINE ORIGINAL-GUM EXAMPLE OF THE 1919 2-CENT TYPE II ROTARY PRESS WASTE ISSUE, SCOTTT 539.
With 1974 and 2008 P.F. certificates.
1c Green, Rotary Perf 11 (544). Original gum, lightly hinged, rich color, light horizontal bend/creaseFINE APPEARANCE. A RARE ORIGINAL-GUM EXAMPLE OF THE 1923 ONE-CENT ROTARY PERF 11, SCOTT 544. PROBABLY FEWER THAN 20 EXIST IN ANY UNUSED STATE.
A small quantity of 1c Rotary Press stamps was perforated 11 gauge at the end of 1922, using remainder sheets from the earlier printings that were normally perforated in 10 gauge or 10/11 compound gauge. Its existence as a Perf 11 variety was discovered in 1936, and the stamp received its Scott Catalogue listing in 1938.

$2.00 Carmine & Black (547). Top plate nos. 8179/8177 and arrow block of eight, stamps Mint N.H., h.r. in selvage, deep rich colors, well-centered, bottom right stamp pulled perf at right and natural gum crease thru left pair, appears Very Fine, Scott value as hinged plate block
1c-5c Pilgrim Tercentenary (548-550). Five original gum plate no. blocks of six of each of the three values, all positions represented including tops with and without letter "F", all of the 5c plate blocks are hinged, the 1c and 2c plate blocks are locked in "coffin" mounts on album pages but probably some of these are Mint N.H., fresh and Fine-Very Fine "around-the-clock" set, Scott value as all hinged is more than $3,200.00
