VERY FINE. AN EXTREMELY RARE ONE-PENNY MULREADY LETTERSHEET USED ON THE FIRST SUNDAY AFTER ISSUE.

The first official day of issue, May 6, was a Wednesday. Covers used on the first Sunday are scarce, because very few post offices were open.

VERY FINE. A BEAUTIFUL EXAMPLE OF THE BRAZIL 60-REIS BULL'S EYE TIED THE "S.JOAO DEL REY" PRE-STAMP MARKING.

A similar cover from the same correspondence realized Euros 7,000 hammer in the recent David Feldman sale of the Meyer collection.

Choice centering, rich color, used with horizontal pair of 200r and tied by neat strikes of "Syndicato Condor Ltda., Recife, Servicio Aereo No Brasil, 28 Mai 1930" double-circle datestamp on picture post card depicting LZ127 after landing, to Friedrichschafen, Germany, bold "Lakehurst N.J. Jun. 1, 1930" transit, purple cachets

VERY FINE AND CHOICE. AN EXCEEDINGLY RARE EXAMPLE OF THE PARAHYBA PROVISIONAL USED FROM RECIFE. ONLY FIVE ARE KNOWN USED ON ZEPPELIN MAIL. ONE OF THE GREAT RARITIES OF AIR POST PHILATELY.

At Parahyba, the supply of 5,000r stamps had been exhausted. The local post office authorized the overprinting of thirteen of the 20,000r stamps on hand. Some were sold at Parahyba, and some were sold at Recife. Only five examples used on Zeppelin mail are known. One of the others, used from Parahyba, is offered in the previous lot.

Registered cover with four Czechoslovakia stamps tied by "Praha 82 Letiste 15.V.30" datestamp, second strike at left, and addressed to Czechoslovakia, with two Germany 2m and two 4m South America Flight stamps tied by purple "Luftschiff Graf Zeppelin 19.5.1930" datestamps, one purple and two red cachets, transit and receiving backstamps incl.
