5c Carmine, Imperforate, Error (485). Mint N.H. double error in block of 40, large margins all around with full arrow at left, brilliant colorEXTREMELY FINE. A BEAUTIFUL MINT NEVER-HINGED EXAMPLE OF THE 5-CENT IMPERFORATE ERROR IN A BLOCK OF 40. AN IMPRESSIVE MULTIPLE.
During the course of production of the normal 2c plate No. 7942, three positions were noted to be defective. The plate was returned to the siderographer, who burnished out the three positions and mistakenly re-entered them using a transfer roll for the 5c stamp. The error passed unnoticed and the sheets were issued to the public Perf 10, Imperforate and Perf 11 (Scott 467, 485 and 505). The imperforate is by far the rarest of the three.
2c Carmine, Ty. II, Coil (491). Pair, bright color, choice centering, small foreign matter adhering to gumEXTREMELY FINE PAIR OF THE 2-CENT ROTARY PRESS HORIZONTAL COIL, SCOTT 491.
Unlike most other issues, the horizontal coil is actually scarcer than the vertical coil. It was in production for only a short period of time before being replaced by the Type III, Scott 492.

1c Green, A.E.F. Booklet Pane (498f). One stamp lightly hinged, others Mint N.H., Position W6, intense color, Fine-Very Fine, with 1995 P.F. certificate
2c Deep Rose, Ty. Ia (500). Mint N.H., brilliant color, perfectly centered with wide margins at sides, Extremely Fine Gem, with 2001 P.F. certificate
5c Rose, Error (505). Barely hinged (if at all), brilliant color, almost perfectly centered, Extremely Fine, with 1979 P.F. certificate
5c Rose, Error (505). Single error in Mint N.H. pane of 100 with plate nos. at right and bottom, brilliant color, error with wide margins, fresh and Very Fine, Scott Retail as single error in Mint N.H. block of nine and two plate nos.
5c Rose, Error (505). Double error in Mint N.H. pane of 100 with plate nos. at top and left, bright color, choice centering for this difficult issue, few stamps far from error with dirty fingerprints, Very Fine, scarce complete pane, Scott Retail as double error in Mint N.H. block of twelve and two plate nos.
12c Claret Brown, "Pink Back" (512 var). Mint N.H. strong Pink Back, rich color, wide margins, Extremely Fine, Scott Retail as normal
13c Apple Green (513). Mint N.H., radiant color which is quite striking, wide and balanced margins, Extremely Fine Gem, a beautiful stamp
20c Light Ultramarine (515). Mint N.H., bright color, wide margins, tiny natural gum skips, Extremely Fine
50c Red Violet (517). Mint N.H., bright color on post-office fresh paper, wide margins, Very Fine and choice
2c Carmine (519). Lightly hinged, intense shade and impression, Very Fine and choice, with 1984 P.F. certificate for block of four
