Original gum, vivid color, breaks in paper in grill area due to the heavily impressed "Continental Grill", this is more or less the norm for this variety and really should not be considered a fault but rather part of normal production, single short perf at left, otherwise Fine, with 2009 P.S.E. certificate
1c Dark Ultramarine (182). Original gum, lightly hinged, precise centering, rich color and clear impression, Extremely Fine, with 2010 P.S.E. certificate (OGph, XF 90; SMQ $640.00)

Scott 187 without secret mark is significantly more difficult than Scott 188 to find in such superb condition. Collectors waiting for a Mint N.H. example may have a long wait -- we have not offered one since keeping computerized records.
