7c Black, Vertical Pair, Imperforate Between (639a). Mint N.H., intense shade, Very Fine and choice, according to Gary Griffith, this variety was first reported in 1939, the postmaster in a small town near Cleveland was annoyed that several panes had some rows of perforations missing, he cut some apart by hand and then gave up, throwing them in a box which was later purchased by a stamp collector, rumored to be Karl Koslowski (of Scott 314A fame), it is believed that about 20 pairs and two blocks of four were purchased, this is among the few well-centered examples we have offered -- most are close to the perfs on one side, with 1989 P.F. certificate showing left selvage

With 2012 P.S.E. certificate (Gem 100 Jumbo; unpriced in SMQ above the grade of 100, SMQ $2,400.00 as 100). This is the only example of Scott 675 at this highest of grades

Mint N.H., intense shade and detailed impression, mathematically perfect centering, Extremely Fine Gem, a huge stamp and surely one of the finest in existence, ex "Clipper City", with 2014 P.S.E. certificate (Gem 100; SMQ $2,350.00), only one has graded higher (100J from Siegel Sale 1019, lot 909), this is the only example to achieve this perfect grade
9c Nebr. Ovpt. (678). Mint N.H., vivid color, perfectly centered, Extremely Fine Gem, a beautiful stamp, with 2007 P.S.E. certificate (Gem 100; SMQ $2,550.00), the highest grade awarded and shared by only two others
10c Nebr. Ovpt. (679). Mint N.H., exceptionally well-centered, brilliant color, Extremely Fine Gem, with 2006 P.S.E. certificate (Superb 98; SMQ $1,050.00), only four grade higher
2c Von Steuben, Imperforate Pair (689a). Horizontal pair, lightly hinged, bright color, large margins, Very Fine and choice, three panes of 100 were originally discovered, the first was returned and destroyed, some stamps from the second pane were used on covers and the remainder was returned, the third pane was discovered in Washington state and purchased intact at the post office, all known examples come from this third pane, with 1986 P.F. certificate

3c Nicolet's Landing, Horizontal Pair, Imperforate Vertically (739b). Mint N.H., wide and beautifully balanced margins, brilliant color, Extremely Fine Gem, a scarce error pair in Mint N.H. condition with such choice centering, Datz estimates only approximately 80 exist, with 1991 P.F. certificate for a block of four
4c Mesa Verde, Vertical Pair, Imperforate Horizontally (743a). Mint N.H., without the brown Post Office paper often found on reverse, choice centering and margins, deep rich colorEXTREMELY FINE. ONE OF THE FINEST OF A SMALL HANDFUL OF MINT NEVER-HINGED EXAMPLES OF THE 4-CENT MESA VERDE IMPERFORATE BETWEEN ERROR.
Only 15 pairs are recorded in Datz and 6-9 have the Post Office paper adherence. This is only the third Mint N.H. pair we have offered since 1993 and only one of those other two has comparable centering.

5c Yellowstone, Horizontal Pair, Imperforate Vertically (744a). Mint N.H. strip of three with sheet margin at left, exceptionally well-centered with wide and balanced margins, fresh color on pristine paper, light natural gum bendsEXTREMLEY FINE GEM. THIS MAY WELL BE THE FINEST EXAMPLE OF THE 5-CENT YELLOWSTONE IMPERFORATE BETWEEN ERROR.
Datz states 50 pairs are known. We have offered many other examples (all but one were hinged), with varying degrees of centering from barely Fine to on the cusp of Extremely Fine, but none have compared to the margins and centering on this gem -- regardless of gum condition.

$5.00 Red Brown & Black (834a). Mint N.H. but with light signature and pencil notations across most of back, unhelpfully applied by Herman Herst Jr., deep rich colors in the distinctive Red Brown & Black shade, Very Fine, Scott value as hinged
