X. Bazin, 2c Blue, Old Paper, Die Cut (RT1a). Large margins, bright color on fresh paper, Very Fine and choice, only 29 examples are recorded in the Aldrich census, which notes that this was never issued, with 1982 P.F. certificate
Corning & Tappan, 1c Black, Watermarked, Imperforate (RT2d). Large to huge margins including bottom sheet margin, intense shade on bright paper, thin spots, Extremely Fine appearance and rare, the Aldrich book records only 16 examples, probably half or more of which have faults

Wide margins and essentially perfect centering, couple thin spots, Extremely Fine appearance and about as good as this issue gets from a centering and margins perspective, only 31 are recorded in the Aldrich book, approximately half of which are said to be sound (it is very likely less than half)

Large to massive margins all around including bottom right corner sheet margins with parts of two imprints, also showing outline of the plate, intense shade and impression, light creases, appears Extremely Fine, a visually striking corner margin example of this beautiful design, only 44 are recorded in the Aldrich census and well over half have faults
George W. Laird, 3c Black, Pink Paper, Imperforate (RT14c). Large to huge margins including complete "Printed by the National Bank Note Co. New York" imprint at top, intense impression on bright Pink paper, light horizontal crease, appears Extremely Fine, a beautiful example with the imprint, 40 are recorded in the Aldrich census
George W. Laird, 3c Black, Pink Paper, Imperforate, Double Transfer (RT14c var). Showing dramatic double transfer at bottom, obvious in all the lettering from "Complexion & Skin" to below, shallow thin spot at top left and a faint horizontal crease, Extremely Fine appearance, a desirable and rare example of this variety, 40 examples of the basic listing on Pink paper are recorded in the Aldrich census, we do not know the number that have the double transfer but we have offered only one other in our auctions since 1993

Lanman & Kemp, 1c Black, Pink Paper (RT16c). Massive Jumbo margins and choice centering, intense shade on deep Pink paperEXTREMELY FINE GEM. THIS IS EASILY THE FINEST EXAMPLE OF THE LANMAN & KEMP ONE-CENT ON PINK PAPER WE HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED.
A Power Search review found only a few examples of this issue offered in our auctions since 1993. Only one other was sound and Extremely Fine (ex Lilly and Cunliffe) but it does not have the Jumbo margins seen on this superb example. Each of the others has a fault or only Fine centering

Orr N.Y. and Wilson imprints, the wrapper is in good condition with just a few small cracks and some light scattered toning, Very Fine and wonderful collateral piece for the revenue collector
