5c Blue (304). Mint N.H. block of four, rich color on bright paper, Very Fine-Extremely Fine, the bottom left stamp is especially nice, Scott Retail as singles
15c Olive Green (309). Mint N.H. with wide top part imprint selvage, three wide margins other sides, vivid color, fresh and Fine, with 1996 P.F. certificate
50c Orange (310). Top imprint and plate no. 1602 block of six, lightly hinged, intense shade and impression, few reinforced perf separations at bottom rightVERY FINE. A RARE AND DESIRABLE PLATE BLOCK OF THE 50-CENT 1902 ISSUE. ESPECIALLY RARE FROM THE TOP PLATE POSITION.
As an indication of rarity, none was offered in our sales of the MLG or Saddleback collections. We have offered only one other since 2000, from the bottom position. One has to go back to 1992, the the plate block offered here, to find another in our auctions from the top position.

We have offered perhaps a half-dozen others in all of our Rarities sales and our auctions from 1994 onwards. Very few blocks of this quality have survived the blockbusting years.
