4c Orange Brown (465). Mint N.H., bright shade, choice balanced margins, Extremely Fine Gem, with 2009 P.S.E. certificate (XF-Superb 95; SMQ $650.00)
5c Blue (466). Mint N.H., brilliant color, unusually choice centering with Jumbo margins, Extremely Fine Gem, a superb stamp in every respect, ex Dr. Morris and Killien, with 1993 P.F. and 2006 P.S.E. certificates (XF-Superb 95 Jumbo; SMQ $1,100.00 as 95, $3,950.00 as 98), only four have graded higher
5c Carmine, Error (467). Mint N.H. single in a strip of three, all three stamps exceptionally well-centered, bright color on fresh paperEXTREMELY FINE GEM. A SUPERB EXAMPLE OF THE 5-CENT ROSE PERF 10 ERROR IN A STRIP OF THREE.
This error and the Perf 11 Scott 505 are rarely found with such choice centering
6c Red Orange (468). Mint N.H., radiant color, precise centering with wide and balanced margins, long and full perforations all aroundEXTREMELY FINE GEM. A SUPERB MINT NEVER-HINGED EXAMPLE OF THE 1916 6-CENT PERF 10 UNWATERMAKED ISSUE, WHICH HAS BEEN GRADED SUPERB 98 BY P.S.E. -- THIS IS THE HIGHEST GRADE AWARDED.
With 2009 P.S.E. certificate (Superb 98; SMQ $4,200.00). This is the highest grade awarded and it is shared by only three others

9c Salmon Red (471). Mint N.H., bright color, precise centering on post-office fresh paper, Extremely Fine Gem, with 2009 P.S.E. certificate (XF-Superb 95; SMQ $1,050.00)
11c Dark Green (473). Mint N.H., wide margins and precisely centered, deep rich color, Extremely Fine Gem, a beautiful stamp from the scarcer unwatermarked series, with 2006 P.S.E. certificate (XF-Superb 95; SMQ $600.00)
12c Claret Brown (474). Mint N.H., intense color on bright white paper, almost perfect centering, Extremely Fine Gem, with 2009 P.S.E. certificate (XF-Superb 95; SMQ $925.00)
15c Gray (475). Mint N.H., pretty shade, choice margins and centering, natural straw inclusion in perf hole at bottom could easily be removed, Extremely Fine Gem

30c Orange Red, Perf 10 (476A). Position 76, Mint N.H., vivd color on bright paperVERY FINE MINT NEVER-HINGED EXAMPLE OF THE 30-CENT PERF 10 WASHINGTON-FRANKLIN ON UNWATERMARKED PAPER.
The 30c Perf 10 Unwatermarked, Scott 476A, has no trace of the single-line watermark. Although one or two stamps from the discovery sheets have been found with "ghost" watermarks, the Scott Catalogue and the Philatelic Foundation continue to recognize Scott 476A.

50c Light Violet (477). Mint N.H. with selvage at left (lightly hinged in selvage only), brilliant color on post-office fresh paper, choice centering with wide and balanced marginsEXTREMELY FINE GEM. A SUPERB MINT NEVER-HINGED EXAMPLE OF THE 1916 50-CENT PERF 10 FRANKLIN ISSUE ON UNWATERMARKED PAPER, WHICH HAS BEEN AWARDED THE GRADE OF XF-SUPERB 95 BY P.S.E.
This 50c issue was only available in post office stocks for a very short period of time, because it was released only three weeks prior to the beginning of the new Perf 11 series.

$1.00 Violet Black (478). Mint N.H., extra wide and well-proportioned margins, bright and crisp, Very Fine and choice
$2.00 Dark Blue (479). Mint N.H., intense shade and impression, almost mathematically balanced marginsEXTREMELY FINE GEM. A STUNNING EXAMPLE OF THE 1917 $2.00 MADISON PERF 10, GRADED SUPERB 98 BY P.S.E.
