1c-$2.00 Trans-Mississippi, "SPECIMEN" Black Handstamped Ovpt. (285S-293S). All nine values with large "SPECIMEN" handstamp, tropicalized original gum, some of these are quite brittle from acidification during their time in postal archives books, including a couple with small pieces of corners broken off (the high values are all intact) and some light toning, Fine appearing and rare set from the postal archives of Bechuanaland, last offered in a Siegel sale in 1978, 2c with 1977 B.P.A. certificate
