Original gum, lightly hinged, intense shade in the distinctive Dark Brown shade, large margins to full, faint vertical crease in right margin outside of the designVERY FINE APPEARANCE. A BEAUTIFUL FOUR-MARGIN AND SOUND ORIGINAL-GUM EXAMPLE OF THE 5-CENT 1847 ISSUE IN THE DARK BROWN SHADE.

5c Brown (1). Unused (no gum), essentially balanced margins all around, outstanding color and impression on nicely blued paperEXTREMELY FINE. A LOVELY UNUSED EXAMPLE OF THE 5-CENT 1847 ISSUE.

Horizontal strip of three, large to huge margins except tiny margin nick just clear of design at bottom left, deep rich color and clear impression, neat red grid cancels, trivial corner margin crease top right clear of frame line cornerEXTREMELY FINE APPEARANCE. ONE OF THE FINEST AND LARGEST-MARGINED STRIPS OF THREE OF THE 5-CENT 1847 ISSUE WE HAVE ENCOUNTERED.
Multiples of the 5c 1847 larger than a pair are very scarce. We have handled only a few with margins and condition comparable to that of this strip.
10c Black (2). Unused (regummed), narrow margins but clear all around, small repair at top left and tiny thin at bottom, about Fine appearance, affordable example of this rare unused stamp, with 2001 P.F. certificate
10c Black (2). Large even margins, intense shade and impression, bold strike of blue grid cancelEXTREMELY FINE GEM. A SUPERB USED EXAMPLE OF THE 10-CENT 1847 ISSUE.

10c Black, Short Transfer at Top (2 var). Full margins, intense shade and impression, bold strike of blue grid cancel which leaves the variety clearly visible, faint horizontal crease at top mentioned on most recent certificate, appears Very Fine, with 1977 and 2008 P.F. certificates
