1c-12c, 24c-90c 1869 Pictorial Issue, Large Die Proofs on India (112P1-117P1, 120P1-122P1). Lacking only the 15c for completion, 24c and 90c hybrids as always, the rest die sunk on cards ranging from 118 x 152mm and larger, most showing imprints at bottom of India paper, brilliant colors, the 6c with two light waterstains outside the die sunk area (could be trimmed leaving a fully die sunk proof)FRESH AND VERY FINE SET OF LARGE DIE PROOFS OF THE 1869 PICTORIAL ISSUE, MISSING ONLY THE 15-CENT VALUE.
The 24c and 90c come only as hybrids. This is a desirable group with all the other values fully die sunk. The 15c, which is also normally encountered as a hybrid could be acquired for this set rather easily and inexpensively

All known examples of these invert proofs come from the sheets originally in the Earl of Crawford collection.
