2c Proprietary, Pale Milky Blue on Thick Paper, Perforated (R13c var.). "Theo. P. Johnson Newark. N.J. Jan. 25 1870" double-circle datestamp, Very Fine, unlisted shade and paper, with 1991 P.F. certificate, Scott Retail as the Ultramarine shade
2c Proprietary, Ultramarine, Perforated (R13e). Extra wide margins and outstanding centering, bright color, light pen stroke cancel, Extremely Fine, exceedingly difficult to find with wide margins and this well-centered, with 1983 P.F. and 2004 P.S.E. certificates (XF 90; Revenues unpriced in SMQ)
2c U.S.I.R., Perforated (R15c). Unused (no gum), dramatic kiss print at left, doubled portion of the impression shifted to right, vivid color, Fine, a striking variety, ex Cunliffe, with 1989 P.S.E. certificate
3c Playing Cards, Perforated (R17c). Beautifully balanced margins, deep rich color, 1864 manuscript cancel, Extremely Fine, with 1995 P.F. certificate
3c Proprietary, Perforated, Double Impression (R18e). Clear doubling of the design throughout, small manuscript "H" cancel, small surface scrape at right of Washington's head, Very Fine appearance and scarce
4c Playing Cards, Perforated (R21c). Well-centered with excellent color, neat Aug. 3, 1864 manuscript cancel, Very Fine, scarce and desirable when found both sound and centered, with 2008 P.F. certificate
5c Playing Cards, Perforated, Double Impression (R28e). Unused (no gum), strong second impression, tiny repair at bottom right, Fine appearance, a rare variety, ex Cunliffe, the only other contained in Power Search was offered in our 2007 Tolman sale
6c Proprietary, Perforated (R31c). Unused (no gum), radiant color, tiny negligible soiled spot at bottom leftVERY FINE APPEARANCE. ONE OF THE FINEST UNCANCELLED EXAMPLES OF THE 6-CENT PROPRIETARY STAMP IN EXISTENCE.
The 6c Proprietary is one of the rarest of the basic First Issue design types. Examples are usually faulty and almost always cancelled.

15c Inland Exchange, Perforated, Double Impression (R40f). Distinctive doubling of the entire design, margins to slightly in at bottom, manuscript cancel, Fine, an exceedingly rare variety, ex Cunliffe
25c Certificate, Printed on Both Sides (R44e). Face side with margins to touched at top, rich color, 1866 manuscript cancel, back side with two strong partial impressions at topFINE EXAMPLE OF THE 25-CENT CERTIFICATE, PRINTED ON BOTH SIDES. ONE OF THE RAREST FIRST ISSUE REVENUE ERRORS WITH FEWER THAN FIVE RECORDED.

25c Certificate, Inverted Impression of 25c Power of Attorney Printed on Back (R44f). Clear impression on back printed inverted in relation to front, neat "Oc. 22, 1865" manuscript cancel, deep rich color, well-centered with three wide marginsVERY FINE. AN EXTREMELY RARE EXAMPLE OF THE PERFORATED 25-CENT CERTIFICATE ISSUE WITH THE 25-CENT POWER OF ATTORNEY ISSUE PRINTED ON BACK.
Ex Cunliffe where it was described as one of only two known, with the other bearing the same manuscript date. We sold an example in our 1986 Rarities sale with a Sep. 7 date. Those two examples are the only others of which we are aware.
