V (24) and tied by large Boston "Paid" grids on cover to Bangor, North Wales, two strikes of red "Short Paid" in oval handstamp, red "New York Am. Pkt. Jun. 15" circular datestamp, Very Fine, the "Short Paid" handstamps were applied in error, the 24c paid the rate via British Mails and the 1c prepaid the carrier fee to the mails, ex Grunin, with 1988 P.F. certificate
