1c 1851 Issue, Collection (7/9). Extensive collection of more than 100 stamps, including more than 30 No. 7 with pairs and strips of three, the vast majority of the rest are No. 9 including an unused block of four (no gum, heavy reinforced creases), couple No. 8A, some better items including No. 7 from both Plate 3 and top row of Plate 4, top left corner margin position with red cancel, double transfer, couple No. 9 with pre-printing paper folds, centerline margins, nearly all are handstamp cancels including some colored with blue and ultramarine ($150 premium in Scott), red carrier, others, mixed condition but many are sound and Very Fine, more than 10 certificates accompany including from P.F., P.S.E., A.P.S. and One Cent Plating Archive, overall an attractive collection worth review on our website PDF, Scott value for the basic stamps in excess of $13,000
1c 1857 Issue, Balance (18/24). More than 35 stamps on stock pages, mostly used but also some unused, some representation of No. 18 and No. 20 but mostly No. 24, includes a combination strip of Nos. 20/18/20, No. 18 used, No. 20 double transfer, several unused No. 24 including one Mint N.H., captured imprints on No. 24, pre-printing paper fold, colored cancels, etc., mixed condition, overall Fine appearing lot
1c-90c 1869 Pictorial Issue (112-122, 124, 133). Complete set of used stamps for Nos. 112-122, plus extra 24c and two extra 30c, bright colors, a few small flaws to be expected, Fine or appear so, also includes unused Nos. 124 (regummed, small stains) and 133, the latter Very Fine, two certificates accompany
3c-90c 1867-68 Grilled Issue, Better Grills (79/101). Nine stamps including Nos. 79, 83, 85, 85B, 85E, 95 and 99-101, each with identifiable grills and faults, all with handstamp cancels except for No. 85E pen cancel, otherwise Fine and unusual to get most of the better grills in one lot
1c-$5.00 Columbian (230-243, 245). Complete set except missing the $4.00, mostly original gum, $1.00-$2.00 regummed, $3.00 used, some faults ranging from very small to more serious on the $5.00, overall Fine-Very Fine or appear so
1c-$2.00c 1902 Issue (300/320A). Perforated set complete to the $2.00, original gum up to the 50c with the $1.00-$2.00 used, many lower values Mint N.H., 1c-5c imperforates including No. 315 (h.r.), bright colors and attractive centering essentially throughout, perhaps a small flaw or two but overall fresh and Very Fine set, Scott value counting everything as hinged (which it is not) is approximately $1,700
1c-10c Louisiana Purchase (323-327). 76 bottom imprint and plate number pairs, complete for all plate numbers used for this issue, including all 24 of the 1c, 40 of the 2c and four each of the 3c, 5c and 10c, gum condition varies from Mint N.H. to h.r. to some unused (no gum), centering is generally decent and better than normally seen in such a large group, few faults to be expected but overall Fine-Very Fine, it reportedly took Mr. Shuman around 50 years to assemble this group, several of the plate numbers are extremely rare
Washington-Franklin Issues Collection. Extensive collection of original gum stamps plus some used mounted on Scott pages, largely complete for the sheet stamps less the rarities, lots of coils including some perf 12 that appear to be genuine, spot check revealed some Mint N.H. as well, fresh and Very Fine collection worth review on our website PDF

In a single album, regular stamps include C1-C6, C23c and later issues with wide range of varieties including many tagging omitted, the bulk of the collection consists of booklet panes and complete booklets, starting with C10a and BKC1, continuing with more than 50 others with a range of varieties including tagging omitted, some better cataloguing $300+, includes BKC12, BKC13, BKC15 (two), BKC18, many others, fresh and Very Fine, a nice specialized collection worth review
Air Post Plate Blocks. 30, including Nos. C4 (2), C7-C9 (2 sets), C10-C12, C16, C17, C18 (2), C19-C31, also includes C3 top double plate no. strip of six, some Mint N.H., overall fresh and Fine-Very Fine
Postage Dues Balance, 1879-1956. Mix of used and unused stamps on album pages, highlights including original gum Nos. J6-J7, J22-J28 (mix of used and unused), original gum J31-J36, J43-J44, J47, J50 (used), J57, J60, J68-J87 complete with good amount N.H., nice condition with just a few of the typical flaws on better stamps, overall Fine-Very Fine, Scott value exceeds $6,000
Postage Due Balance. Album pages of mostly unused stamps, including Nos. J1-J2, J6-J7, J18, J20, J22-J26, original gum, h.r., overall Fine-Very Fine
2c-60c Offices in China (K1-K11, K14, K18). Accumulation of 119 stamps overlapping on a stock page, nearly all are used, mostly used singles and also pairs and blocks of K1, duplication of most including numerous of the lower denominations, range of cancels including some Shanghai, some faults may obviously be found but overall a Fine and fresh accumulation, owner's Scott value exceeds $12,000
Officials Balance. Largely complete collection on album pages, only missing the Executive Dep. (Specimen set in its place), the State Dep. dollars (proof set in its place) and the rarest soft paper issues, mix of unused and used with some spaces filled by both, mixed condition with some faults to be expected, overall Fine-Very Fine or appear so
Newspapers & Periodicals Balance. Range of mostly unused stamps on album pages, a number of better issues are present, four large-format stamps including used No. PR3 (Scott value $2,250, faults), a several others with individual catalogue values in the mid-hundreds to as high as $1,250 (PR69), mixed condition with faults the norm on the better issues, overall Fine or appear so
Postal Stationery Accumulation. Large accumulation of mostly entires, housed in three large folios, envelopes and a few glassines, from noted authority Richard A.
