Mar. 1" double-circle datestamp to Davenport Iowa and forwarded to Dewith Iowa, "Barrancas Fla. 2/24/1865" manuscript origination postmark, Davenport double-circle datestamp and "Due 3" for forwarding postage, slightly reduced at left, minor edgewear, Very Fine, mail from the Union fort at Barrancas is rare, ex Allen, Dr. Rorke and Faust, illustrated in Allen book on p. 11

Union Florida Covers. 39 covers, including two with "U.S. Ship 3cts." handstamps, one to Mass. from U.S. Brig. Bainbridge off St. Marks, other to Maine with solder's endorsement and "Fernandina Fla. July 29th 1863" manuscript postmark, several uses from Fernandina, Jacksonville (including pair of Black Jacks), nice groups from Key West, Pensacola, St. Augustine including one with Official Business imprint, few faults to be expected, most Fine-Very Fine, an interesting group

Union Patriotics Used in Florida. 16 Patriotics plus one label and one unused, most with 3c Rose (65), used include Fort Jefferson, St. Augustine, Fernandina, Fort Pickens, Jacksonville, Key West, Pensacola, impressive range of designs including some regimental, flags, shields, etc., condition is a bit mixed with some faults and one missing a stamp, still overall a Fine-Very Fine and scarce group used in Florida
