THIS STAMP HAS BEEN AWARDED THE GRADE OF GEM 100 JUMBO BY P.S.E., WHICH IS THE HIGHEST GRADE POSSIBLE. THIS IS ALSO ONE OF ONLY THREE COLUMBIAN DENOMINATIONS TO ACHIEVE THIS PERFECT GRADE.
With 2014 P.S.E. certificate (Gem 100 Jumbo; unpriced in SMQ above the grade of 98, SMQ $625.00 as 98). This is the highest grade possible on the grading chart and the only example to achieve it. One 6c and one 10c Columbian have also graded Gem 100 Jumbo -- no others have achieved this ultimate grade.

The 50c Columbian is far rarer as a plate number block of eight than six. We located only nine plate blocks of this size using Power Search.

The $2.00 Columbian Issue is notorious for being one of the most difficult denominations to obtain with choice centering or with wide margins.
With 2014 P.S.E. certificate (OGph, Superb 98; SMQ $9,250.00). Only one has graded higher and one other shares this desirable grade.
