5c Light Blue, De La Rue (6). Two, one has ample margins to touching, other has huge margins, tied by incredibly bold "Warrington Fla. Jul. 2" circular datestamp on cover to Centreville Ala. made from printed bank drafts, mailed on the second day of the new rates -- the use of two singles in slightly different shades suggests that the sender had franked this with one stamp for the old rate and was obliged to put a second stamp on at the post office -- reduced roughly at right, addressee's last name scratched out, otherwise Fine and unusual Florida use

Jun. 11" (1862) circular datestamp on oatmeal cover to Shelby Springs Ala. with red and blue 13-Star Confederate Battle Flag Patriotic design (F13-3), C. H. Nobles & Co. Pensacola imprintEXTREMELY FINE. A VERY RARE COMBINATION OF THIS 13-STAR CONFEDERATE BATTLE FLAG DESIGN, FLORIDA ORIGIN AND THE 5-CENT RATE PAID BY A SINGLE 5-CENT LONDON TYPOGRAPH.
This is a "triple threat" cover with this rare 13-Star Battle Flag design, a Florida postmark and a single of the 5c Typograph -- which is far more often encountered as a pair paying the post-June 30, 1862, universal 10c rate.

Nov. 6" origination postmark on buff cover to Cuthbert Ga., manuscript "Via Albany Ga." at top, bottom flap tears where opened, Very Fine, the only recorded Midway Florida Confederate postmark, which was sent to Cuthbert via Albany, ex Dr. Briggs and Gimelson, illustrated in Briggs book on p. 160
5c Light Blue, De La Rue (6). Horizontal pair, tied by perfect bold strike of "Warrington Fla. Aug. 27" (1862) circular datestamp on cover to Tuscaloosa Ala., right stamp slight wrinkling, still Very Fine use of the Warrington Fla. evacuation postmark, struck at Pollard Ala., Warrington postmaster S. M. Davidson used this device at Pollard from June 15 thru Nov. 12, 1862, ex Dr. Briggs and Gimelson, illustrated in Briggs book on p. 255

Road, East Fla., pair has small nick at lower right, cover has a few small mended holes, Very Fine appearance, beautiful bold strike of the Welaka marking, ex Keeling
5c Light Blue, De La Rue (6). Two, large margins to clear, cancelled by penstrokes, matching "Brookville Fla. Octr. 11th 1862" manuscript postmark on folded letter to Cornsville S.C., stamps with some slight toning, one with small insect holes, otherwise Very Fine, scarce use
5c Blue, Local (7). Two singles, one ample to clear margins, the other slightly in at bottom, tied by bold strike of "Ocola Fla. Jul. 14" (1863) circular datestamp on blue folded letter to Tallahassee, interesting content regarding a ship mishap, Very Fine, this is the only recorded example of the "Ocola" Fla. datestamp, this spelling was used on stampless covers during the early 1850's, this use during the Confederate period was probably inadvertent, each of the 25 other recorded Confederate covers from this town have the correct "Ocala" spelling, ex Kohn, McNeal and Dr. Briggs, illustrated in Briggs book on p. 183
5c Blue, Local (7). Horizontal pair, large margins to in, tied by "Tallahassee Fla. Jan. 14" circular datestamp on orange-buff cover with "Executive Department, Tallahassee, Florida" imprint to Quincy Fla., trivial edgewear, Very Fine and attractive, ex Myerson
5c Blue, Local (7). Vertical pair, neat pen "#" cancels, "Flemington Fla. Sep. 11, 1863" circular datestamp on folded letter to Tallahassee, Very Fine, only five Confederate Flemington covers are recorded in the Briggs census, this is one of only two bearing General Issue stamps (the other with No. 12), ex Dr. Briggs and illustrated in his book on p. 78
5c Blue, Local (7). Horizontal pair, mostly ample margins, small faults, lifted and reaffixed, tied by bold strike of "Tampa Fla. Dec. 28, 1862" circular datestamp on oatmeal cover to Houston Fla., reduced at left, still Fine and extremely rare Tampa circular datestamp, ex Murphy, signed Brian Green who notes "unique", but there is one other example known (see Confederate Philatelist Nov.-Dec. 1991), ex Murphy, illustrated in Briggs book on p. 240
5c Blue, Local (7). Vertical pair, large margins to clear, tied by light strike of circular datestamp, "Bailey's Mills Flo. Jun. 25" with date partly in pen, on cover to Monticello Fla., cover and stamps with some toning, minor edgewear, Fine, only three Confederate uses are known from Bailey's Mill (two with General Issue stamps), with 2015 C.S.A. certificate
5c Blue, Local (7). Horizontal pair, large margins to clear, tied by readable strike of "White Springs Fla. July 8" circular datestamp on cover to Thomasville Ga., slightly reduced at left, some toning on cover slightly affects stamp, light horizontal file fold at top also affects stamps, still Very Fine and rare, only three Confederate uses are known used from White Springs (two with stamps)
5c Blue, Local (7). Block of four, bottom right stamp White Tie variety, margins all around, cancelled by "Marietta Fla. Oct. 22 [?]" circular datestamp with manuscript "due 10c" for 30c rate on large adversity cover made from lined ledger paper to Quincy Fla., manuscript "OB" (official business) at top, two small glue stains at bottom, small internal tear above address, block partly lifted to confirm it belongs, Fine appearance, an extremely rare use of a block of four of the 5c Typograph from Florida, the only example recorded in the Briggs census, also the only recorded White Tie variety from Florida, ex Dr. Briggs

Horizontal pair, large margins to just touched, cancelled by penstrokes, matching "Adamsville Fla." manuscript postmark without date on oatmeal cover to Milledgville Ga., stamps lifted and put back into place, still Very Fine and rare, this is the only recorded use of Confederate stamps from Adamsville, four stampless are also known

Horizontal pair, large margins tied by penstrokes, matching "Archer (Fl.) 28" manuscript postmarking without month on cover to Welborn Fla., stamps and cover with some soiling, otherwise Fine, this is the only recorded Confederate use from Archer with stamps, one other stampless is known, illustrated in Briggs book on p. 23

May 23" manuscript postmark on oatmeal cover to Sandy Ford Fla., turned use, inside with "Lake City Fla. Apr. 27" circular datestamp and "Due 10" handstamp to Mosely Hall and with soldier's endorsement, opened for display, some wear, still Fine and rare, only three Confederate uses are known from Mosely Hall, with 1983 C.S.A. certificate, illustrated in Briggs book on p. 167

Feb. 20" postmark on small cover addressed care of "Fla. Rangers, Hart's Road Station, Fla. R. Road, E. Fla.", missing part of backflap, Very Fine, sent to a soldier stationed near Jacksonville, ex Dr. Briggs and illustrated in his book on p. 209

10c Blue, Frameline (10). Margins all around showing nearly complete framelines on three sides, partial at top, pen dash cancels, the ink of which slightly bleeds into stamp, manuscript "Starke Fla. Oct. 17, 1864" postmark on brown cover to Mocksville N.C.VERY FINE. ONE OF ONLY THREE RECORDED 10-CENT FRAMELINE COVERS FROM FLORIDA.

July 6/64" manuscript postmark on blue home made cover to Thomasville Ga., Very Fine appearance, one of only two recorded Confederate Aucilla postmarks (both in manuscript), this town did not have a regular postal route servicing it
10c Blue, Die A (11). Large margins to barely touched at left, cancelled by penstrokes, matching "Baldwin Fla. Dec. 26th" manuscript postmark on home made cover to Thomasville Ga., 1863 docketing, Very Fine, scarce use from Baldwin Fla.
10c Blue, Die A (11). Large to full margins including sheet margin at left, horizontal crease and affixed with molasses or some other adhesive which has stained the edges of the stamp, "X" pen cancel and "Bartow Fla. Aug. 17" manuscript postmark on small home made cover to Cork Fla., cover nicked at right, appears Fine, the only recorded Confederate Bartow Fla. postmark, there were actually two Confederate post offices named in honor of Francis S. Bartow, the first brigade commander killed in action (at First Manassas), the other was in Jackson County and was renamed Beauregard to avoid confusion (no covers known), this Bartow is in Polk County, ex Dr. Briggs and illustrated in his book on p. 34
10c Blue, Die B (12). Large margins to in, cancelled by pen, "Bawldwin Fla. April 25th" manuscript postmark with misspelling of Baldwin, on cover to Gainesville Fla., some wear, Fine and scarce, this is the only known misspelling of Baldwin, the Briggs book notes this was likely postmarked by a new clerk, illustrated in Briggs book on p. 32

10c Blue, Die A (11). Large margins which are a bit uneven, "tied" by gum residue at left on cover with "Homosassa Jan. 29 1864" manuscript postmark to Hon. C. C. Clay in Richmond Va., Very Fine, the only recorded use of a Confederate stamp from Homosassa, one stampless is also known, illustrated in Briggs book on p. 93
10c Blue, Die B (12). Large and even margins, cancelled by penstrokes, "Mt. Pleasant Fla. Nov. 18" manuscript postmark on blue cover to Sandersville Ga., some edgewear, Very Fine, this is the only recorded Confederate use with stamps from Mt. Pleasant, one stampless is also recorded, illustrated in Briggs book on p. 169
20c Green (13). Large to full margins all around, rich color, tied by "Madison C.H. Fla. Nov. 18" circular datestamp on adversity cover made from "General Superintendent's Office Virginia Central R.R." imprint cover, imprint crossed out and addressed to Richmond Va., stamp with light pre-use vertical crease, some cover edgewear, still very attractiveVERY FINE APPEARANCE. THIS IS THE ONLY RECORDED USE OF A 20-CENT GENERAL ISSUE STAMP FROM FLORIDA. A GREAT RARITY.
This is the only example of Scott 13 on cover from Florida listed in the Briggs census. Even 20c covers to Florida are rare, with perhaps a handful known.
