1c Green, 2c Carmine, 7c Black (405-407). Three Mint N.H. examples of each, each is a slightly different shade, unusually choice centering, Extremely Fine group, Scott lists these in a range of shades, this is an excellent opportunity to acquire some of them, one 7c with 1983 P.F. certificate
2c Carmine (406). Mint N.H., with wide top plate no. 6068 selvage, perfectly centered with Jumbo marginsEXTREMELY FINE GEM. A PHENOMENAL EXAMPLE OF SCOTT 406, GRADED GEM 100 JUMBO BY P.S.E. -- THE HIGHEST GRADE POSSIBLE.
Ex Myerson. With 2015 P.S.E. certificate (Gem 100 Jumbo; unpriced in SMQ in this grade, SMQ $1,250.00 as 100). This is the highest grade possible and shared by only two others, including one with bottom selvage
2c Lake (406c). Mint N.H., deep rich color and detailed impression, wide marginsVERY FINE AND CHOICE. A RARE MINT NEVER-HINGED EXAMPLE OF THE 1912 2-CENT LAKE. VERY FEW ARE KNOWN, ESPECIALLY IN MINT NEVER-HINGED CONDITION. A PHENOMENAL RARITY.
Through an error at the Bureau of Engraving and Printing, a small quantity of this stamp was erroneously printed using the inks in use at the time for the Postage Due issues.
Ex Dr. Killien and "Golden Oak". With 2001 P.F. and 2006 P.S.E. certificates (VF 80; SMQ $4,500.00). This is the only P.S.E. graded example of this issue. The P.F. has certified only a block of four and one other single in Mint N.H. condition. They have also certified only three hinged and one used.
2c Carmine, Coil (411). Mint N.H. guide line pair, brilliant color, beautiful centering, Extremely Fine Gem, with 1993 P.F. certificate
1c Green, Coil (412). Mint N.H. guide line pair, deep rich color on bright paper, Very Fine and choice, with 2022 P.S.E. certificate (F-VF 75 Jumbo; SMQ $170.00 as 75, $250.00 as 80), we are surprised this received such a modest grade
2c Carmine, Coil (413). Mint N.H. guide line pair, brilliant color, choice centering with wide and balanced margins, Extremely Fine Gem, a superb Mint N.H. guide line pair, ex "Hanover", with 1999 P.F. certificate
8c-30c 1912-14 Issue (414-415, 417-419). Two of each, Mint N.H. except one each of 9c, 20c and 30c conservatively described by us as lightly hinged, one 15c regummed, better centering than normally seen, the beauty of this lot is that each is a slightly different shade, Very Fine-Extremely Fine group, Scott lists only two shades for each so this is conceivably complete for all shades, one 20c with 1983 P.F. certificate
20c Ultramarine (419). Mint N.H., rich color on bright paper, well-proportioned margins, Extremely Fine, with 2014 P.S.A.G. certificate (XF 90)
$1.00 Violet Brown (423). Original gum, barest trace of hinging, deep rich color, wide margins, Extremely Fine, with 1977 (as block of four) and 2021 P.F. certificates
