With 2009 P.S.E. certificate (Superb 98 Jumbo; SMQ $2,800.00 as 98, unpriced in the higher grade). According to the P.S.E. Population Report, this is one of only three to have been awarded this lofty grade with none higher
1c Blue (247). Mint N.H. with selvage at left, rich color on bright paper, wide margins, Very Fine and choice, with 2000 P.F. certificate
2c Pink, Ty. I (248). Mint N.H., exceptionally well-centered with pretty bright pastel color, Extremely Fine, ex Lyons, with 2009 P.S.E. certificate (XF 90; SMQ $275.00)
2c Carmine, Ty. II (251). Original gum, lightly hinged, bright color and beautifully centered, Extremely Fine, with 2009 P.S.E. certificate (OGph, XF 90; SMQ $580.00)
3c Purple (253). Mint N.H. with wide top part imprint selvage, rich color on bright white paper, essentially perfect centering, Extremely Fine Gem, a superb stamp in every respect, with 1999 P.F. and 2009 P.S.E. certificates (XF-Superb 95; SMQ $3,250.00), only one example has graded higher to date (at 98, from our Scarsdale Sale 924)
6c Dull Brown (256). Choice margins and excellent centering, rich color on bright paper, light oval numeral grid duplex cancel, Extremely Fine Gem, with 2009 P.S.E. certificate (XF-Superb 95; SMQ $580.00), one of only three in this high grade with just two higher
50c Orange (260). Mint N.H., well-proportioned margins on fresh paper, small hint of oxidation at top, Very Fine, scarce in Mint N.H. condition, with 1995 and 2008 P.F. certificates
