With 2002 P.F. and 2005 P.S.E. certificates (XF-Superb 95; SMQ $3,000.00). Only three have graded higher to date and seven others share this grade.

ONLY 93 COPIES ARE RECORDED IN OUR CENSUS.
Our census of 1869 Inverts, published in the February 1999 Chronicle and updated with three new stamps, contains 93 examples of the 15c Invert, including three unused and 90 used (one in the British Library's Tapling collection).

30c Ultramarine & Carmine (121). Unused (no gum), rich colors on fresh paper, gorgeous centering with wide and balanced marginsEXTREMELY FINE GEM. A SUPERB UNUSED EXAMPLE OF THE 30-CENT 1869 PICTORIAL ISSUE.
With 1980 and 1993 P.F. and 2008 P.S.E. certificates (NG, XF-Superb 95; SMQ $4,800.00). No unused examples have been graded higher to date and this is the only example without gum to achieve this grade. One original-gum example has also been graded 95

90c Carmine Rose & Black (122). Slightly disturbed original gum, wide margins and and well-centered, slight dry print of Carmine Rose frameVERY FINE. AN UNUSUALLY CHOICE ORIGINAL-GUM EXAMPLE OF THE 90-CENT 1869 PICTORIAL ISSUE.
The slight variation in the Carmine Rose impression is also found on the block of six offered in our 1998 sale of the Zoellner collection.
90c Carmine & Black (122). Well-centered, wide bars cancel as often seen on this value, tiny orange pencil mark at extreme bottom right (registry mark?), Very Fine, with 1985 P.F. certificate
90c Carmine & Black (122). Bright color, neat strike of red circle of wedges cancel, perfs shifted significantly towards bottom, capturing top of stamp below, an unusual production variety and especially desirable with red cancel, ex Bechtel.
90c Carmine & Black (122). Marvelous centering and choice margins, strong colors with light cancel, few really trivial perf flaws, otherwise Extremely Fine
