1c Green, Kansas City Roulette (408 var). Right plate no. 6018 block of six, original gum, h.r., rich color, two with small thin spots, Very Fine appearance, a scarce plate block, Scott Catalogue and other sources note that in late 1914 the Post Office in Kansas City Mo. had on hand a stock of imperforate sheets originally intended for use in vending machines, the postmaster, W. N. Collins, sent some clerks to the local dry goods store where they bought 15 inexpensive dressmaker's tracing wheels, each wheel was slightly different, the earliest documented use of either is Oct. 22, 1914 (the 1c), they were taken off of sale on January 14, 1915, nine days after official approval was given, large purple backstamp, ex Curtis, with 2002 P.S.E. certificate
2c Carmine, Coil (413). Mint N.H. guide line pair, radiant color on fresh white paper, Very Fine and choice, with 1996 P.F. certificate
12c Claret Brown (417). Mint N.H., crisp impression, bright color, gorgeous centering, Extremely Fine Gem, with 2012 P.S.E. certificate (XF-Superb 95; SMQ $650.00)
30c Orange Red (420). Mint N.H. right plate no. 6917 bock of six, brilliant color, choice centering throughoutVERY FINE-EXTREMELY FINE. A STUNNING MINT NEVER-HINGED PLATE BLOCK OF THE 30-CENT PERF 12 SINGLE-LINE WATERMARKED FRANKLIN ISSUE. RARE IN SUCH PRISTINE CONDITION.
This is a scarce plate block in any grade. It is extremely rare in this superb Mint N.H. condition.

50c Violet, $1.00 Violet Brown (422-423). 50c very slightly disturbed original gum, both with attractive margins and centering, Very Fine, with 2007 P.S.E. and 1992 P.F. certificates respectively

5c Blue (428). Mint N.H., deep shade on bright paper, wide and balanced margins, Extremely Fine Gem, with 2006 P.S.E. certificate (XF-Superb 95; SMQ $625.00)
20c Ultramarine (438). Mint N.H., pretty pastel color, outstanding centering with wide margins, Extremely Fine Gem, with 1997 P.F. and 2015 P.S.E. certificates (XF-Superb 95; SMQ $2,500.00)
20c Ultramarine (438). Bottom plate no. 6908 block of six, h.r. on middle bottom stamp, four stamps Mint N.H., fresh color, Fine, with 2014 P.F. certificate
30c Orange Red (439). Perfectly centered within wide margins, intensely rich color, small portion of an oval cancelEXTREMELY FINE GEM. A SUPERB USED EXAMPLE GRADED GEM 100 BY THE P.S.E.
This is the only example of Scott 439 -- Mint N.H., hinged or used -- that has reached the exalted grade of Gem 100 in the P.S.E. Population Report.

2c Carmine, Coil (444). Mint N.H., pair, deep rich color and proof-like impression, beautiful centering with wide margins all around, Extremely Fine, with 2014 P.S.E. certificate (XF-Superb 95; SMQ $1,050.00), only one example has graded higher (98) and two others have equaled it
3c Violet, Coil (445). Mint N.H., classic dark violet color of the genuine coil, Very Fine, with 1973 (for pair) and 2002 P.F. certificates
3c Violet, Coil (445). Particularly light cancel, wonderfully wide margins, fresh colorEXTREMELY FINE. A HANDSOME USED EXAMPLE OF THE 3-CENT HORIZONTAL COIL SINGLE, SCOTT 445, GRADED SUPERB 98 BY THE P.S.E.
With 2011 P.S.E. certificate (Superb 98; SMQ $1,500.00). This is the highest grade awarded by the P.S.E. as well as being the sole example to reach this grade. No other examples have been recorded higher than a grade of 95.

2c Red, Ty. II, Coil (454). Mint N.H. pair, bright color with choice centering, Extremely Fine, with 1991 P.F. certificate
3c Violet, Coil (456). Joint line pair, hinge expertly removed (certificate states Mint N.H.), left stamp picked out natural inclusion in top margin, otherwise Very Fine, with 2013 P.S.E. certificate (F-VF 75)
3c Violet, Coil (456). Pair, right stamp Mint N.H., well-centered, rich color and clear impression, left stamp with top left perf tip soiling, otherwise Very Fine, with 1999 P.F. certificate with no mention of the perf flaw
2c Carmine, Ty. I, Imperforate Coil (459). Mint N.H. strip of five, bright color, ample to large margins, end stamps light gum bends, pos. 2 slight gum crease, still Very Fine
5c Carmine, Error (467). Mint N.H., in pair with 2c, wide margins, brilliant fresh color, the non-error 2c stamp with small perf disc indent at bottom, the error Very Fine and choice, with 1974 P.F., 1991 and 2015 P.S.E. certificates
5c Carmine, Error, Perf 10 and 11 (467, 505). Mint N.H. double error blocks of 12, bright colors in slightly different shades, error pairs in both blocks centered to side, fresh and Fine pair of matching error blocks

20c Light Ultramarine (476). Left plate no. 6908 block of six, h.r. between two top stamps, four stamps Mint N.H., bright color, Fine-Very Fine, a scarce plate block, we have not offered a Mint N.H. example since keeping computerized records, with 2014 P.F. certificate
